Quilters Heaven

It is no longer at this address. This place was great when it was open, but it closed a couple of years ago. In fact, many of the quilt shops in this area have closed. The Quilting Bee in Greendale closed about a year ago and The Cutting Table in Bayview closed - I don't even remember when anymore.

This is a small place but they have exceptionally good selection . You can find everything you need in this store and the proces are comparable to other departmental stores . The staff is very helpful and knowlegeable is always eager to offer you any help or advice you need . I think they also offer training classes

For a small space, this shop has a wonderful selction of fabric neatly catagorized by color and type. The books are wonderful and I could spend hours just wandering through this friendly palce. The women who work here are very helpful whether you are on the high end of experience or a beginner. The offer classes also.

CONS: A little off the beaten path.
