Hammacher Schlemmer is an amazing place. Think a gigantic toy store for adults. All sorts of electronic devices and other sundry devices that you never knew you needed until you saw them. A movie thaters popcorn machine or a giant remote controled car or all other sorts of oddball but cool items.

They have so many nifty gadgets at Hammacher Schlemmer that you can shop here for hours and not get bored. They have great gift items to choose from as well as items that will make you feel so much better. The staff is great about showing you what each product will do and be sure to bring home a copy of their catalog so you can buy some other items in the future. With prices so high you'll have to pace yourself here but it's a really fun place to browse and pretend.

It never fails after walking around the city for hours my legs and feet want to give out...This store always saves the day for me...The massage chairs on display are ready to all who walk through the doors...I've never had a problem with the employees complaining if I sit too long..When I can finally walk again, I love to look at all the fascinating merchandise, much of which you won't see anywhere else.

For unusual gift ideas you can't beat this store though it is a bit pricy

Hammacher Schlemmer & Co. has an interesting selection of oddball items from all around the world. Popcorn makers, little cars kids can drive, all sorts of things to appeal to your inner child.

At first glance Hammacher Schlemmer & Co seems like an ideal place for me. Sleek clean aisles. Lots of neat stuff which appears fun to operate. Then the reality sets in. The staff is borderline obnoxious unless you are waving your credit card in there faces to get attention. Most of the merchandise is way overpriced for what it is. Still there is some fun stuff to see here but don't get your hopes up as to having a perfect shopping experience.
