They came out to fix my fridge 4 times and couldnt fix it. I asked for money back and they refused! Now Im out of $400 and my fridge is still broken!!! Do not make the same mistake I made!

Before you read my review click on a few members that have written gleaming 5 star reviews of this place. You'll find they're all the same person writing reviews for the same 3 or 4 businesses. The company is clearly aware of its poor service and instead of addressing the issue is posting fake reviews to makes themselves LOOK better. This only adds merit to my HORRIBLE experience with these loosers detailed below. I generally write all my reviews on Yelp, but I'm so absolutely fuming at these crooks, I'm posting here as well.\n\nActive Appliance was sent out my my home warranty company American Home Shield to fix a broken downdraft on my stove. The technician came out, examined the unit and determined that he needed to order a part. He came back a week later and installed the part. Later I notice that the front cover was missing - I wasn't there when he did the repair. I called Active Appliance and they called the technician who said he didn't have it. They denied any responsibility and made not attempt to rectify their mistake. [The guy probably set it down in his truck and forgot about it. Common, I have no reason to make a fake accusation. I just want my FREAKIN part replaced! Its been there for 10 years and now its gone]\n\nAfter going around in circles with 2 incompetent representatives & a manager for HOURS over several days, the conclusion was that I had to send them a picture of the unit with the missing part so they could ""open a case"" and file a claim thru their insurance. (Mind you this is probably a part that costs them less than $80) So, I sent them a picture and, guess what? A lovely email response from the Customer Service Manager Francis Salazar saying: ""We will not be able to replace the part."" Just glorious!\n\nI know what your thinking... Call the warranty company. Well, I did that too. Same thing. Round and round and in the end all they do is point the finger and tell me to take it up with Active Appliance. (Review for the warranty company forthcoming)

This service company was assigned by kitchenaid to repair a faulty panel on my microwave. The rude service tech, came in several times, ended up breaking the vent, which has to be glued back on, and installed a new touch panel but broke one of the attachments on the inside of the panel. Instead of informing me or their company about it, he left. Over the course of time, the panel became loose. A new technician came over and told me one of the attachments broke during installation. The technician told me he would discuss it with his manager since he felt it should be repaired for free. Since it was more than 30 days since I called this in (it did not become apparent until later) they decided that they won't cover it and want to charge $ 380 for repairs for something their own technician broke. Unacceptable. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau.

This is the worst company ever. My home warranty company contracted them to investigate a faulty A/C unit in my home after my regular A/C maintenance company deemed that there was a problem.

The technician arrived on Friday of a Labor Day weekend and all he did was listen to the condenser and open up the closet to my A/C unit before saying that everything looked okay.

I tried to explain that my home was not cooling down no matter how long I ran the A/C and that a recent preventive maintenance service found there was a problem with the compressor and possibly the evaporation coils. He did not check either of them! Instead, he said my problem was that the freon was overcharged and that by releasing some of it, that should fix my problem. I told him that my A/C was working fine until recently and that my freon was last charged over 18 months ago!

His answer to all my problems was that I should wait a few days to see if everything corrected itself due to his lame attempt and that I should just call back to schedule another appointment if things didn't change.

I then called the warranty company while he was still in my home and when they asked to speak to him, he said that he had to leave for another house call. He didn't even leave me an invoice with comments!

I don't know who this technician is, but on behalf of my 2 year old and my newborn who have to endure this heat, THANKS FOR NOTHING!!

The foods I kept in my refrigerator were all rotting and I called up these guys. Within few hours, the serviceman repaired my refrigerator. They even called up later to check if I am having any further troubles. They are professionals I have to admit!

Was told on the phone that a service call was $45 plus parts. Was told tech would arrive between 3-6 and he showed up at 7pm, an hour late without any phone call that he'd be late. Was not charged $45 but a whopping $125 to replace a fuse (dryer wasn't heating up) that was done within 15 minutes. Was given an invoice without any breakdown of cost for labor or parts. Manager refused to make adjustments. Would not recommend them at all....shady, unfair business practices.

My 1.5 tonne AC was working well, until it started to degrade in performance, and stopped cooling. It was still making the sound, so I realized that it wasn't dead. I was not sure about who to call, and my wife called in these guys. I was satisfied with the quality of service. These guys are real professionals.

My washer was making a lot of noise recently, and I contacted Active Appliances. They inspected my washer and said that my washer had no problem, and the noise was from the motor which needed lubrication. They Lubricated the motor, and my washer was running smooth again. They could have charged a lot more by saying that a part was broken, which I would have bought, since I don't have any knowledge of appliances what-so-ever. But they charged for the lubrication only. I was very pleased with the service and sincerity.

The second service person told us that there is a problem but then he and the manager lied and closed the service call with no work to be done.\r\nDo yourself a favor and hire your neighbor's 10 years old child and he or she will do a better job
