If I could give Dr Ruhlmann 10 stars, I would. He is a very caring, Christian doctor, who takes the time to ask how you are doing, and truly expects you to tell him. He listens to your answers and responds. My husband and I have been one of his patients since he first came to Hutchinson. (I believe over 11 years) Since then, we have highly recommended him to our parents, children and friends. My mother is in a nursing home and I have NEVER had a problem with the care Dr Ruhlmann has given. He is quick to react to a medical problem BEFORE it gets worse. If she needs to see a specialist, he doesn't hesitate to recommend one. Something else that makes him unique, it that you do not wait to get into your appointment. We have commented about this several times to him, and his response has always been the same: "I have an obligation to my patients to not keep them waiting." Now tell me how many doctors have you been to, that you can say have this kind of respect for YOU?

My parents used to go to Dr. Ruhlmann and at first we liked him very much. But he became unreasonable when my father was in a nursing home and wouldn't listen to any of the family members so we changed Drs. He was convenient because he is at the Clinic where we do our other doctoring. The location and parking are great. The other personnel are all very friendly and nice. Would not recommend him.
