Dr David Yoon is quite knowledgeable as a physician; as well as a person .. He explains details so that I will understand and takes the time to go over any and all of my medical options. He explains and details all medical information to me as if I was his only patient. I have been through some medical "stuff" in the past few years .. and I am very fortunate to have Dr David Yoon as my doctor. He practices through Jena Medical Walk In .. and though some patients may get discouraged that they cannot see Dr Yoon - vs - his many qualified personnel .. (I know .. I've been there enough) .. he is in constant contact and overseeing every need within the office .. I am confident that my health and well being could not be in better hands! ..

Dr. Yoon is entirely too busy to give the attention needed to each individual. He tires, but his notes that he puts in the computer do NOT assist him in remembering the individual's exact program/problem. He's OK for an emergency...to refer you to someone else or the hospital, but not much more. If you don't make an appt. with him directly, you are going to see a nurse practioner, and they're not knowledable and they're far from the right person to see for your individual problem. Dr. Yoon is a "middleman" between you and your individual specialist. He only documents appts., advice from that specialist, and not much more! Go to your specialist directly, or go to him for minor problems. That's about the extent of the expertise of this office.

My family of five has been going to Jena Medical for the past 6 years. We have gone in both with an appointment and on a "walk-in" basis. I have been extremely satisfied with the service, professionalism and level of care provided. Dr. Yoon is extremely thorough in his examinations as well as his explanations. He is very warm and compassionate and never makes you feel rushed. The Physicians Assistants are equally thorough and caring. Two of his PA's have been there as long as I've been going. There can be a wait on the "walk-in" side, but I would expect that anywhere, especially on a Monday or when there is a bug going around. Keep up the good work Dr. Yoon and staff! I recommend you all the time!

Thank you Dr. Yoon for squeezing me into your very booked schedule on a busy Friday afternoon. I am really impressed with the medical attention you provided and, plan on hiring you as my Primary Care Physician. I APPRECIATE YOU, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

I went to this clinic expecting a professional and honest treatment but unfortunately it was the opposite.
I was having problem with one of my eyes (red, itchy and swelling) for a few days now thus, I decided to go to this office instead of my primary physician.
The nurse was very unprofessional, uncaring and not courteous at all.
Then the doctor, ??if we can call him that?, smelled like cigarette and kept questioning me regarding my first visit 4 months ago, instead of focusing on my current situation. He kept saying I had nothing and that he didn??t see a reason why I visited the clinic. We went back and forth regarding my past visit and current my symptoms, when finally he suggested I should get some x-rays done. I questioned why he suggested that and his response was: ??if you come to this office to get help and you don??t collaborate please don??t bother coming in at all"
After all, I think he did not hear or paid attention to what I had to say and tried to make it seam that I was wasting his time. At the end, I am the one paying for a service and should be treated with respect.

Have been going for a few years now. Will NEVER go back! The staff, receptionists and the nurse "Kim" is uncaring, rude and uncompassionate to the patients. The staff needs a reality check and needs to work with roofers or plumbers, but not ill or hurting people in their time of need! Dr. Yoon! Take notice!

Worst walk in clinic. I almost died waiting. The best doctors leave. Every time I go there, I see a new doctor. Every person who works there is frustrated. I would never take my family members there. None of my friends had a good experience there.

Receptionist are quite rude,

Doctors shuffle patients like cattle,

no concern for the patient whatsoever.

Frequent staff turnover. will not return again.

I have had good and bad times here. I have gone in and been out in 30 minutes. I have also sat for an hour and when I went up to check out why, they forgot to pull my chart, so they didn't even remember that I was there. The reception personnel definitely needs work. But the nurses and doctors are great. That's why I keep going back. I may look for a new doctor because of the ladies up front, but I am not that fed up with the situation yet! The rating system is a hard call. Where the ladies up front fail the people behind the scenes make up. So if I could rate them separately; reception would get 1 star and the nurses and doctors would get 4.5!!

I went to Jena Medical twice and both times walked out. The staff is rude and seem put off when you ask them after an hour and half how long they think it may be. The only reason why I went back after the first time was because it was an emergency and the Jena Medical I usually go to in Ormond (great facility!) was too far to drive. They ignored me while I was standing at the front and then after about 3 minutes looked over at me and rudely said, "You got insurance?" Please be advised that you will leave this facility feeling like a number. If I could give it no stars I would.

Make an appointment with Laura. She is a Physicians Asst. She is great and listens! She actually spends time with you and discusses everything with you and asks you questions.

When my fiance had a bad arm he went here and the doctor adivsed it was a nerve in his arm and gave him meds and wanted to have a follow up in a week. That seemed pretty normal to me as many doctors will want to see you back but when he went for his appt. the doctor said everything looked fine and he wants to see him again the next week which is what didn't seem right. If everything looked fine why would another follow up be required?

The staff was fantastic .... friendly and caring never had any difficulty with the care, appointments were timely, MD was informative and considerate of my personal needs even though this was a Workmens Compensation case. Only downside was longer waits on 2 occasions.
