The doctor seemed very nice and competent, but I had a terrible experience with the "patient treatment specialist" /"assistant", who, it turns out , is ( due to office "compartmentalization" ) the only person with whom patients may speak for appointments or any other treatment info : When I first asked for an appointment , she said "We'll have to give you extra time because you talk so much."
Shortly after, when , despite misgivings, I emailed to confirm the appointment, she responded by sending me , not the date I'd requested , but a non-existent date ( i.e. like "Feb. 30th") ---More troublingly, she added " and should you want a cleaning, our hygienist books up quickly so "Do it now!!!!" ( Those 4 !!!!'s were hers) --- When, concerned by this consistently nasty tone , and by the fact that the office had sold me a bulky dental device ( Oral-B) , which seems to large to fit into much of my mouth and stops working constantly, and which comes packaged together with the notorious "Crest Pro-Health Rinse" ( which had already caused me considerable staining and is complained about by hundreds for its harmful effects on Amazon , legal action sites and elsewhere) , I emailed the "office manager" with my concerns about this treatment and that product, I never received a response. I have definitely never received such troubling "treatment" and am writing this , after some hesitation and soul-searching, in the hope that it may spare others this experience--and that it may eventually move the office to "clean up its act" .

I have been to visit Dr. Scovic a few times now. My experiences so far have been wonderful. He is very knowledgeable and his confidence in his procedures puts his patients at ease. He and his assistant Mary provide for a light and fun atmosphere. I would very highly recommend Dr. Scovic.
