Went for a simple eye exam. I refused the glaucoma testing and he was going to let me sign a waiver until he saw my family history and then refused to do my eye exam. What is most disappointing is the fact that I was talked to by 3 different staff in the office and never once questioned by the doctor himself. Not to mention I had to wait 40 min after my premade appt time and then waited another 40 min in the exam room to not be seen. We will NEVER go there again. Totally unprofessional.

This place is a rip off. I had insurance so they really jacked the price up and I'd say what I had done was no different than when I took my son in with a coupon and it cost him $149.00. Mine was 10 times that amount. They ended up owing me $75.00 and would not return it. Said I had to use it in the store. Went to look at sunglasses and cheapest was $150.00 and I asked if they gave Sr Ciitzen discount and was told since I had insurance they didn't. Sooooooooo, they can take the 75 dollars and.............. what a real rip-off. After paying for all that they did (which was min) I asked about a clogged tear duct and they said I'd have to come back in and pay another office visit. I didn't like the doctor, didn't feel he was competent and am pretty hacked off how they over inflate their charges and then when you have money owed to you won't give it back to you.

I've been going to Vision City in Burleson, TX for over 6 years personally and I have many friends and family members who trust and go to Vision City as well. We've all had nothing but great services and professional care when we were there. It's unfortunate for the others who have had problems with the customer service people but heck, I've had problems with the Burleson Walmart- doesn't mean I'm going to stop shopping there! Also, I've read that the people who had problems visited this Vision City for a couple to many years if you're that unsatisfied then QUIT going!

I've had eye exams at this location for the last 4 years and so far they have been fine. As we get older so does our vision and I found it odd that my vision had not changed in 4 years. I totally agree that the floor personnel are in experienced and the selection of frames are very outdated. I will not be using them again. Insurance carriers need to be informed that sometimes less isn't necessary better when it comes to vision.

I have used Vision City located in Burleson for the last past 5 years, In the beginning the customers service was Great!!!! However, they must have had a turnover with employees there.The staff who is there currently is horrendous !!!! I went in to get a contact exam which went fine, but when it comes to someone teaching you how to put in the contact was down right rude and very unprofessional...I guess since they are only front desk help and not very educated I got what I paid for!!!! And to think this was my second attempt to try for contacts... The first dreadful time I thought was a fluke.... but to have it happen the second time... I will never go back to Vision City in Burleson again!!!!

I had my eye exam done there and one of the ladies helping me started saying I had prisms in my current glasses and I began freaking out because the last place I had been to didn't say they were putting prisms in my glasses. The Optometrist confirmed that there were NOT prisms in my glasses and she was wrong. I looked at their glasses and they do not have a selection of updated trendy frames. A lot of old style Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Coach, Vogue, etc. Not many Bebe, Versace, Prada, etc. I had seen a pair that looked good on me by Lingberg. There was no price on the glasses so someone in the back had to call on them. After insurance my out of pocket was going to be $440. Before insurance those frames with straight lenses, no extra coating, single vision was $728. Insane. Needless to say I became frustrated, looked around for similar glasses and found nothing. I ended up just leaving and I doubt I will be going back. I should have known when there was no price on these glasses to keep looking and not waste so much of my time.

And the Rx was wrong, had to be redone, took another week!! Now, frames fall apart, and even though it's warrantied, I have to pay 1/2 price for another pair of frames!!!! They are a rip off, and have poor service too.

I have been wearing hard (Gas Perms) contact lenses for over 30 years and have used many providers. Vision City Burleson, TX has to be the best experience in all my annual exams in making sure of getting a correct prescription. Because of the compression and eye memory with wearing hard lenses, I was given soft lenses and returned three times at the doctors request until my eyes returned to the natural shape and my vision RX could be correctly prescribed for new contacts. I was extremely satisfied with the office personnel and especially the doctors at this Vision City location.. BKress - Burleson, TX

This place gives horrible customer service! If you don't have any concerns or problems, they are nice and your experience may be fine. If you are unhappy or not satisfied with anything then they are not nice anymore and are extremely unhelpful. You will have to fight with them and your problems don't get resolved which is what happened to me. They really just don't care. I won't ever go back.

I am an employee of Vision City Arlington, and personally I go out of my way to make sure a patient is pleased with our service. I am always friendly and try to be as helpful as possible. We are a busy location and at times cannot get to patients as fast as we would like. About the broken frame...if you bring in a frame that is several years old, and terribly twisted and we accidentally break it in the process of adjusting it, how can you put us at fault? And yes, there is such a thing as a defective frame...and if it happens...you get your frame replaced...FOR FREE!

I've been wearing glasses and contacts for over 40 years and have seen many doctors over the years and Dr Wise is simply the best. Just a nice, caring person. No need to ever look elsewhere!
Kinda surprised reading some of the reviews but as the last review kinda said, nobody is perfect. i was in there once when this one lady was being unreasonable...period. she left unhappy but it wasn't their fault..can't please everyone and i know lots of people complain in hopes of getting something for free! Go there if you need great eyecare...you won't be sorry!

My wife & I purchased two pair of glasses from Vision City. From day one the service was bad and the employees were RUDE. I had a staff member arguing with another employee over the top of me about "storage" while I was being glaucoma tested up front. The frames I purchased were "low end", but nice enough. They came apart twice. They fixed it once and said "this is a manuf. defect". This time the frame broke in the center of the lens frame (still under warranty), but they are charging me anyway. I tried to reason repeatedly & they rudely refuse to stand behind the product. It's not the money, but the ethics that I am upset about. I am the Licensing Director for the leading Insurance Marketing firm in the country... I will let the TX folks know "Don't go to Vision City- Burleson". I'll gladly pay more elsewhere... This proves that a nice store is not enough- service is important too. Thanks- I hope I save someone else form being treated like this. Don't bother calling, they just repeat their policy to you over and over. By the way, they get full credit on the frames when they return them; we pay anyway...
