Lani's Salon
alright...seems I accidently reviewed the WRONG hollywood nails...this is the one I'm talking about it's a nice place located near disneyland and they do have all kinds of spa packages from massage to mani-pedis and waxing. They can be a little pricey if you ask for the "spa chairs" but overall a good place to go.
Forever 21
I really don't like forever 21 this place has such tacky clothes that are sooooo cheaply made they fall apart the same week you get them. they also claim to have larger sized clothes but thier xl clothes fits someone who's a size 6. Just a big waste of time and money !
Siany
I bought a beautiful necklace from this place that I always get compliments for whenever I wear it. It was very expensive (the store is very upscale) but I thought of it as an investment and have been glad ever since. they not only carry jewerly but they also have clothing, bags, pins, scarfs, and almost anything else "girly" and "pricey" you can think of. it's fun to come in and try stuff on if your a little cash poor.
Cost Plus World Market
I LOVE world market. Not only can you get furniture here but you can also get beers from around the world and all kinds of specialty items (foods to furniture and beyond) a great place to go if your looking for a gift and don't know quite what to get. (this place has it all)
Planet Funk
the bombay co has beautiful pieces from beds to living room furniture and handmade knicknacks and even jewerly ( I bought my sister some hand painted earrings one year for christmas that were beautiful) a great place to go if you have ecclectic tastes.
Relax The Back Store
this store has alot of good stuff to easy a sore back and muscles. I got a "stability ball" there (one of those big round balls you balance on) and it's helped my back alot. they also have a friendly staff that will answer any questions you might have.
IKEA
ikea has some of the coolest furniture I've ever seen (and half my apartment has some kind of ikea thing in it) the only down side to this place that has EVERYTHING (kitchen, bath, bed, beyond!) is when you buy one of the bigger items (like a bed or desk) you have to assemble it yourself (unless you want to pay an outrageous price for them to do it) and that can be a little much. other than that everything's cheap there so go crazy!
Barnes & Noble
this store is a parent store to barnes and noble and even though it is in a restored movie theatre (very cool to look at) and there are book signings there alot...the merchandise is a little more expensive and I would just recommend going to borders books where the prices are more reasonable.
Victoria's Secret
this is a nice location for this store. it's a pretty big place with a very helpful, friendly staff and I was able to pick out what I wanted without being hassled to "buy more things" or pressure sold. overall come hang out and buy here.
Loehmann's
I came here with a friend who had 2 hours to find an outfit for a gala type event that night. We not only found a dress (THAT WAS TOO CUTE) but we found accessories and shoes that all came out to a very reasonable price (considering that some of the clothes here are name labels) a good deal
