this florist has some of the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen. I recommend getting a fishbowl of cut roses they make beautiful centerpieces and the people there are very knowledgeble and friendly.
not one of my more favorite places to shop for gifts and see things from a musuem aspect. not much to see and everything is very overpriced...better just to skip it!
This place reminds me alot of pier one except it has alot more...I actually have bought a bed from here and kept it for years! it's great place with great products everything from kitchen to bathroom to living room all you can want!
ummm not a big fan of this store. I feel like the clothing is too expensive and the staff running it can be a bit much. if your looking to thrift shop try a local one this store is just not worth it.
I found this place when I won a gift certificate to it and I really liked it. it's a very bright store with lots of "pretty things" like earrings, clothing, soaps, even baby clothes. Even though it's a great store be warned it's in santa monica so it's a bit pricey!
I found this place last october when i was looking for a cool halloween outfit and I found it here. This store has alot of cool vintage (everything's second hand practically) clothes, hats, shoes everything you could want or need. A fun adventure looking for that missing piece for your waredrobe!
the gallery that's attached to Wacko (a cool store) is full of art from the local scene. Very cool shows happen almost every weekend (just check the papers or call to see what's going on) I think a great way to spend the day getting to know the art scene in los angeles.
I love finding places that are cute and kitchy and out of the way and soap plant is one of those places...it's a really cool bookstore but there's more! little knicknacks and novelty items that will keep you busy for HOURS!!
I actually go to see someone I really like (Rhett Miller) perform there. It's a great club. very small so your close to the artists when they are on stage. you have the option of having dinner and staying for the show or lining up outside and hope to get a seat.
this place is very close to my house nestled in the now bustling "no ho arts district" they have good comics who headline there (and celebrities are known for dropping in) just make sure to call and find out who's playing and know it's a 2 drink min.
