I've never been in the store but I called based on SEVERAL friends' recommendations. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. The prices are about the same as 1-800 flowers or places like that, but the flower quality is much better and the arrangements are the best I've ever seen.
The only bad thing about the California Chicken Cafe is that they're open relatively late (9 or 10pm, I believe), making it THAT much more difficult for me to resist the calling of their low-cal chicken pasta salad!
I know I don't always recommend Studio Club to friends because they are really expensive compared to other nearby cleaners. Studio Club's strength is that they can clean almost anything; and they open early and stay open late (7:30...and later if you call ahead). They've saved my skin a number of times.
Hands down the best place in town for film. They have everything you'd ever need in stock, and at the best prices I've seen on this side of LA (east side and mid-city).
Always make an appointment, otherwise you'll have to wait forever, but it's definitely worth it. Lena is the best eyebrow waxer in town, hands-down.
I almost don't want to recommend them because they'll get even busier! Nail Station is across from Bonsoir Nails but they're cheaper, better, and far friendlier--at least for manis, pedis and massage (I've never tried facials or waxing at Nail Station). They take me when I walk in 30 minutes after closing...a total lifesaver.
