Good but sometime chaotic. Located in the heart of abbot kinney st it is stones throw away from venice's most trendy shops. Stylists will listen to what you want but make sure you know otherwise they will do their thing.
PROS: Coveniently located in venice and st parking usually easy to find and free
CONS: Moderately expensive
Overpriced and a wanna be...
White waiters walk around normal table adorned with silverware saying japanese like things. You can easily find somewhere in the area with equally good sushi for a much much better price. Hell, you might as well go to White Lotus with these prices.
PROS: Convenient Location, but parking is not easy - hit the garages.
CONS: To expensive
Never stayed at the hotel although i heard it is exquisite. The bar feature the young, hot and hip. The back patio/pool area is the saving grace of this hot spot. Cabanas can be rented for a nominal price (varies depending on night or day). You are sure to see a star here and plenty of plastic, if you know what i mean. Final word: great place to bring a date for dinner or drinks and THE place to be seen in Santa Monica.
Customer service is so, so. I tried to get in contact twice by email to sales guy to get additional info on car and he never responded - never had a problem responding before i bought the car. Car is in good shape, but had a few problems here and there, nothing you want from a "certified preowned". I wouldn't recommend this dealership just based on their sales reps inability to communicate and work the sale. I bought the car b/c i "sold myself" on it.
Great for a Boston Red Sox fan, or any Boston fan for that matter. So, so selection of beers. Jukebox that desire more old school hits, although it does have its fair share. 3 dart boards and broken chalk to boot. Never been on a Night Game, but apparently gets so packed you can't move. Final Word: Great place to socialize with Boston Fans Alike, but don't bet on it as a place to meet new people or pick up that hottie.
Not great sushi and the service is poor. Food is always delivered late and the wait staff has a tendency to be stand offish. Save your money and go to a sushi bar with a better atmosphere and nicer service.
The scene is World War 2 like (its at an airport). The beer is cold. The food is ok. Had the Filet Mignon and it was slightly over cooked and poor presented. The bathroom is on the ghetto side but still has some atmosphere to it. If you are going to a show at the Santa Monica Hanger this is a quick place to stop and grab a quick bite and drink, but don't make it a destination spot.
