this store is mainly a cheese shop situated right inside pike place market. there are tons of selections of cheeses even within its genre from plentiful of goat cheeses to plentiful of sheep cheeses to plentiful of cow cheeses and so on and so forth. and the people actually let you taste the cheese before you purchase. ever since i first stepped into this cheese shop, i have been making weekly visits and always purchase tons of cheese.
the best wines of washington state is provided at this little wine shop. my favorite of which the riesling from the st. michelle chateau. there are also a couple of wines from other countries available. but not really the best of international wines. however, what else is great about this wine shop is it holds annual wine tasting events.
i looked through every piece of clothing and could not find one thing that looks nice. even for the average dresser. however, the prices are, indeed, very cheap. but there just isn't anything to choose from. the jewelry just look like pieces of cheap junk. and most of all, everything in the store is just out-of-date, like 10 years behind schedule.
nordstrom is the only store that has gucci items. no other store in seattle or in any surrounding cities have gucci items. so, for those of you who love gucci, nordstrom of downtown seattle is where to go.
there is a huge variety of japanese products available at this grocery store that cannot be found in any other nearby asian grocery store. and the meats at uwajimaya are the cleanest than any other market that i have been to. i would highly recommend buying meats at this particular store. however, there is not a large selection of sake. rather, there are only cheap sake.
this vintage store has many interesting things. most eye-catching were the shirts. so many selections to choose from. and nice and petite for my size. the hats were really interesting as well. the prices were well-fit to the value of the selling pieces.
the performers at this particular theatre are known to be the best of seattle. even some performers have travelled from other states even countries to be part of the performance. thus, you can always guarantee that you will receive an excellent show. and what is really great is the brochures i receive in the mail of all the upcoming plays. it provides a synopsis, the dates of the play, and these brochures are sent annually. and the theatre itself is situated next to a beautiful symbolistic water fountain. basically, the surroundings of this theatre is just beautiful. thus, making the theatre more welcoming than ever.
yes, the workers seem to try too hard to satisfy the customers. when i was at the box office with my boyfriend, the worker immediately gave compliment over compliment to both my boyfriend and myself. it was quite overwhelming. i thought, perhaps, this is how the place functions. i must admit though that she was very kind while we were purchasing our tickets. but she just asked too many questions. they were not persecuting questions, but still, it was a little over the top for me.
as i walked into this store, immediately i am approached by a salesperson, "what would you like?" i simply wanted handsoap. and she was helpful showing me a huge variety of handsoaps from bottled handsoaps to the handsoap bars. but she was a little pushy and "salesperson type" on me for she started recommending other products. but with my simple, "no thank you". she kindly ran up the items i purchased and added a sweet, "have a nice day, enjoy the soap". and likewise, i noticed the other salesperson was just the same to the other customers that were in the store with me.
i have seen a variety of shows at this theatre, and always each one were excellent. there was a ballet show, to a rock concert, to a musical. and always, each show it went to, yet so different from the other, were the best ever. the theatre itself is very 20's like looking. such a grandeur type of place. and no matter where you sit, you can see the stage just fine. thus, if you want to pay cheap seats, you will still have a great show.
