This is my favorite neighborhood nail salon because of their cheerful, friendly staff. They have 2 spa chairs, 6 regular stations and a waxing/facial room. Very reasonable prices. The staff is very nice.
The sushi is good, the service is good, the prices are good, but the atmosphere is great (except on game night when a HUGE flat screen tv ruins all ambiance). a fountain covers one wall. romantic.
the spinach quesadillas are awesome. ginger beer. peppered shrimp. black beans & rice, plantains, anything you can imagine jerked. yummy, outside, festive and reasonably priced. very small parking lot, so that can be an issue.
The food here is consistently good, the servers are native french speakers which adds charm but sometimes can lead to miscommunication. This is a great cafe to spend a weekend morning, they don't mind that you linger over your coffee. It's on the expensive side, but well worth it if you order their seafood specialties.
It was already dark the day the truck was due back at U-Haul. So when I got in the van to drive it back to them the headlights were out. It being unadviseable to drive a vehicle at night without lights I called & left a message saying I would bring the truck in the morning. I got the truck there the next morning and they charged me in full for the second day b/c the truck had been due back the night before, regardless that it was their equipment malfunction that had caused it. Looking back I realize I should have sued or at the very least refused to pay.
I made a reservation with U-Haul for a moving truck & 4 dollies. The reservation was confirmed over the phone and then 3 days before my move I was informed that i could only have the truck for half a day and I could only have one dolley. When I questioned what had happened to my confirmed reservation I was informed that this is the way it has worked for 20 years & if I have a problem she would be HAPPY to cancel my reservation. This 3 days before my move. Unbelievable.
I found Roll'n Rye to have a hospital cafeteria atmosphere, tasteless food, & overpriced. Though it does a brisk business with the bridge and canasta set.
professional, fast & friendly. explained my options and I left happy, with shiny new tires.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. The dining room is filled with couches and cushy pillows. The goat cheese & veggie sandwhich is terrific. Great atmosphere, good food. The upstairs is very cozy as well.
Aracely Maldonado is terrific. She is cheerful, reliable and does an excellent job. She was referred to me by a friend and she is currently available to take on more clients (Feb. 2005). I live on the westside and my friend lived in brentwood, so I know she is available in those areas.
