I hope the fact that a Trader Joe's just opened in the area doesn't take away business from these folks. They've been around for many years providing the freshest organic produce.Trader Joe's lacks the produce if you havent noticed. I am quite lucky to be so close to it. To be honest, I go between TJ's and the Madison Market for different reasons. That way I am satisfied and both places are getting my business. There is parking available and the employees are quite nice. A very clean and friendly atmosphere. Keep it folks. I hope you stick around for many years to come.
PROS: produce, employees
This is my favorite place for indie magazines. I can get the most outlandish material. Don't let that take away the fact that the selections cover all aspects of music, art, lifestyles, etc.
The location is quite cool as well. After I get a new magazine, I'll usually hit a cafe, restaurant, music store, or bar to read my material. Oh man the urban life rules! I am glad this store is part of my daily experience in Seattle, WA.
PROS: choices are plenty
I live near this store and actually still visit the store because I still need furniture. I always leave the place feeling shortchanged. I thought used furniture was cheaper than these ridiculous prices. They don't make any sense to me. Now if you're looking for a bed, this might be okay. I just would avoid all other purchases. Then again, you may want to come by and see for yourself. Maybe you'll have a better chance and bargain your way to a reasonable price, because I couldn't. I'll still walk by in hope they'll lighten up a little.
CONS: too expensive for used
Not my first choice. I just want to clear that off the bat. The male section in really small. Therefore the selection is nearly non-existent. Unless you have bad taste. Hehe. Okay it's not that bad. I just havent had any luck with finding shirts and/or pants. Too large or too tacky. Never the less, I really like the low prices and selection for the females. If you see a confused fellow with a hint of disappointment in his eye, give him a hug.
PROS: male section is small and tacky
CONS: cheaper than other vintage places
I still have to appreciate the products they provide the the people who love any type of outdoor activity. Hey this location is the REI headquarters! The store is HUGE! You want it, they have. Seriously! Shoes, bikes, clothes, backpacks, camping gear, etc. I could go on. Oh. They have a really cool/large climbing wall. There is also a food court somewhere in the building.
On top of that. The customer service is stellar. I have always had fun when visiting the store.
PROS: they have it all, quality, activites, healthy fast food, customer service
CONS: the large building mat seem overwhelming at first
Yes, this is a good one. I have always been able to leave that store with something tasty for the ears. This is unusual for me. I have a hard time finding new stuff..in which I may haveto resort to the internet. Sometimes though, I like the feeling of physically looking for something new. Easy St. is quite good with keeping up to date with all types of music styles. I really dig that! I think you will too.
PROS: choices, wide variety of music
CONS: none yet
I don't inderstand the steady attraction that this place still gets. The fact that the clothes look "cool" doesn't over-ride that they are cheaply made and overpriced. I have been there many times. I have bought several things in the past. Now that a few years have gone by, the clothes that I bought at Urban Outfitters are not around anymore. It seems that the products are not able to handle normal wear and tear. The only thing I still have around are the Adidas shoes I purchased there. If the prices were way less I'd be less inclined to complain.
PROS: Hip clothes and misc. gadgets, books, furniture, etc..
CONS: expensive, cheaply made
The fact that this location is in the Capitol Hill area makes sense why there are so many choices when it come to musical instruments and accessories. Besides that there are your usual stereo and TV equipment. DVDs and jewelery as well. I like the low profile attitude this place has. The employees are friendly and aren't going to hound you about buying something.
PROS: wide musical instruments selection, employees
I love visiting this place. I've yet to be disappointed. There are the usual attractions in which I enjoy as well(Elephants,Tigers, Loins, etc.) I especially enjoyed the Grizzly bears and exotic birds. The zoo area is fairly large enough to make a half-day's worth of observing. There are a few food areas and many gift shops if you're into that.
PROS: animals!, shops, food, large area
All in all, this is the place to go if you need to cash a check and you dont have a bank account. Or. If you really need a payday advance because you're in a bind. I would like to suggest that one doesn't get caught in the loan cycle for it can be quite dangerous to your budget. Just use only when needed, not every two weeks.
The customer service is awesome and they pride in that. They dont make you do anything against your will. If you need the help, they will provide. There are at least 21-22 store locations in the Seattle and surrounding area.
PROS: Loans for binds, check cashing, great customer service.
CONS: loan cycle
