It feels like I'm in Rosarito, or Cancun. Defenitely has that vibe. The guacamole is yummy and they have great chips to boot.
They are constantly changing the beer list with some great specialty micro-brews. The food menu is a hit, too. Often it seems understaffed, but the service is still great.
They also have some yummy rootbeer floats, coke floats, and delicious shakes. The fry's are tasty and you can get a grilled cheese specially made for us veggies.
It seems they spent more on decor than on developing a flavorful and rich menu. It's a chain. The decor is beautiful, I've heard rumors that everything was shipped in from Italy.
I've heard a rumor that they use non dairy creamer substitutes in the Ivar's restaurants, but use real cream in the store bought chowders........
Yummy yummy yummy the crust is great. the staff at the queen anne store are really nice and you learn something new everytime you go in (daily trivia questions can land you a free soda).
p.s. they have cherry coke
The corporate appearance kinda takes away from the overall experience. I prefer the ma and pa places, but the food is good.
Disneyland CAN be a lot of fun, but you have to do it right. Getting into the 33 Club is super hard, but super fun, too. Definately go on an off day, in the spring or fall, winter even, but summers can be gnarly.
I've been disappointed with ride closures, so try and check ahead to see what the maintanence schedule is.
Peso's has a really great happy hour (food only) with some fabulous Mexican/American Infused dishes. Try the endive salad!
