Well, first off, this business is located in Palmyra, I am not sure why it is listed in Whitewater?
I am thrilled to find a video rental store right in my small town. Although the choices are somewhat limited, and there are fewer copies than in larger chain stores, I still feel that I am not missing out on anything. Video Pix is family owned, by some of the nicest Palmyranites around. Great nightly rates, and a free rental progam are also a plus.
Outpost has a sea of options when it comes to healthy eating and living. I could spend literally hours reading package lables and checking out all of the specialty items you would not find at your average grocery store. Becareful, before you know it you may find yourself with $100 worth of items in your basket, as eating and living naturally comes at a price. While you are there check out the deli options, absolutly delectible choices to please any pallet.
I am thrilled to see Oconomowoc open a small Mexican grocery store! It is difficult sometimes to find authentic ingredients for home cooking of ethnic dishes. I buy avacados, that are always ripened to perfection, and have found a brand of tortilla chips in a little brown bag that are absolutely a must have for dipping fresh salsa. Great prices, and friendly service are also found a El Mercadito Gonzalez.
Schroedls Country Market serves the area with the finest cuts, at the best price for butcher shop. This market on weekends can be swamped, so be prepared to wait for great service.
At Discount Liquor you can find the best in wine, for a great price with excellent help. Good beer, and other booze selction too, but I go for wine. It's not in the finest area in Waukesha, but it's worth the drive to go and stock up on all your adult beverage needs. We can also buy our favored Cowboy Brand charcoal there, for a competative price.
So you have seen the signs off the freeway have you? Don't follow them, unless you are willing to take an adventure. We thought we would find it in a few, but an hour later we arrived. It small, it's uneventful, and we lost our money in fifteen minutes.
It's big, it's beautiful, it's alright. The city attracts vagrants and beggers, and I always manage to run into one. It's a good place to go for fun, but don't expect to go home rich. Do enjoy a quality meal in the bar, everything I have had in there is exceptional. I really miss, placing real money into machines, somehow the paper payout does not do it for me.
Ho Chunk's a nice Casino, in a nice area. Lots of slots to choose from, but good luck finding the one you played last time. The buffet is good occasionally, but when it's off, it's off. I have consumed a few meals that were below service temperature. It's has the regular casino mix, although the precentage of oxygen tank having, SSI blowing individuals seems high and I almost always lose my wad here. The drink service on the floor is regular, and the people are nice enough, but if it is busy, it's a long wait to have your machine unjammed or to be payed out.
I have had 3 specialty T shirts made at this place for gifts. All done over the phone with Scott. He has superior service skills, quality T-Shirt making skills, and his prices are very fair.
The T's always come out perfect, without even entering the store, and on time, sometimes with even short notice.
I can go two ways on Rivers Edge, sometimes I am pleased, and sometimes not so pleased. We usually pick up a roast for the spinning in the summers, they have always been good. They have always given me a competative price on whole roasts, but the steaks and such in the case seem pricey for a butcher shop. Customer service at the counter is usually unsatisfactory, I have been in the store many minutes before somebody has come around the corner to serve me. I have also stood without acknowledgement at the counter for up to 10 minutes while they serve someone elses needs.
