This is a father to son business and we have been going here for all my life. Daddy Asadourian is probably ready to retire, but Mark is a great replacement. He is very gentle and will explain everything you need to have done so there is no question. They book pretty quickly, so you would need to make an appointment well ahead of time. They are a great family practice and you will not regret coming here. If you fear the dentist, you won't if you go here!
Big Jims is a great resource for finding cheap project materials. They have a little bit of everything for the home, doors, sinks, toilets, materials, all at really great prices! They have odds and ends and if you ask for something specific, they may have it or they may be able to get it! If you are working on a house, or any kind of home project, Big Jims is a diamond in the rough! Take a peek, I guarantee you will find something that will peak your interest!!
Chalifours is a beautiful flower shop that thinks they are in NY City! The prices they charge would make Bill Gates go, whoa! They do have some pretty arrangements, and they also carry gifty items, but unless there is something on the clearance table you can use, this place is for the wealthy only! They are only a block or so from Dandilyons who sells a dozen roses for under $10, but Chalifours can charge up to $50 for a dozen! Ouch! Nothing will hurt a budget faster than shelling out that kind of money for something that is going to die in a day anyways.
This property management group seems to own half of Manchester. They send out an agent to show the apartment and then they drop the bomb...the pricing is ridiculous! They wanted to check everything about us, including blood type it felt like. Not to mention the agents are wicked snobby and think they everything they show is the Taj Mahal, NOT! They stand there and lie straight to your face! I had one agent tell me that the stairs had just been repaired and repainted, only to walk to the stairs, grab the railing and nearly fall off because the railing came off!! I wouldn't recommend anyone to use this management company unless you are independantly wealthy and don't mind living in a dump they hastily repainted to make it look presentable!
This is a family practice that has been passed from father to son. Dr. Hanlon is a wonderful and caring chiropractor that will work with you to help you get better, not just take your money and send you away. His fees are better than any other chiropractor I have ever been too. I travel all the way from Manchester to go see him and he has helped both my husband and I immensely with our aches and pains. If you need a chiropractor who is gentle on your back AND your wallet, then go see Dr. Hanlon!
My husband is always begging me to let him go in here. They have car models that he loves and they also have a large selection of other types of models and game type items. The staff is geeky and stuff is hard to find, but they have a good selection when you get down to it. Oh man, if you have money to burn and a hubby who loves to build, then this is the place to go!
Zales is a standard jewelry shop, filled with run of the mill jewelry and staffed by people interested in making a sale. They make up for the high rent they pay in the mall by tkaing it out on the customers. I bought my diamond here and the diamond had a flaw in it when I picked it up, but they swore it was the same one I looked at in the store before it went for sizing. No amount of talking would fix it, so I still have it, pretty setting, but poor quality...
Jillians has a small selection of video games, mostly old, broken junk, but they do have a good number of pool tables. The do serve some food and expensive drinks that are not that good. If you are looking for a place to play some pool or darts, this is one of the only places in Manchester to go-unfortunately! They do have a nice outside deck when it is open, and they have some good bands if you time it right, but the cover charge is a bummer!
Went here with my sister in law who was getting haircut and suggested I come for some services. When we got there, they did her hair and I asked how much and they said <$$$> for a haircut and I nearly collapsed! While they did a beautiful job on SIL's hair, I will stick to Rumors, who does as nice a job but at less than half the price! The atmosphere is wonderful, but the price is not right. We are not in NY people!
This convenience store is just that, convenience. They are right off of rt 101 and this makes it easy to grab what you need on the way to the beach, or home from! If you need some quick beers, a bag of chips or a soda, then come here and get your fix! They are always open and mostly always clean! They also have bathrooms and the gas prices are reasonable, so this is a good stop if you are traveling.
