If you are in to the more modern type of furniture, then Ikea is the place for you to go. This place is HUUUUGE! The prices are amazing, and most of the furniture is fairly easy to put together. The best part about this place is the cheap food you can get at the front of the store. It always seems to be super crowded though.
Jamba Juice makes a good snack, but i'm not too fond of having it for a meal. The drinks are great, however they can be a bit pricey. The smell in the store also gets to me. It always seem to smell like orange peels, which I'm not a big fan of. Besides that it is a healthy alternative to the normal burger joints.
It is always fun to cruise through Koby's swapmeet on a saturday (dont go friday or sunday, theres not as many vendors) I always end up buying some cool stuff that I never knew I needed. There is also some pretty good food here. Go to the Koby's website for coupons such as 2 for 1 admission.
I love target for a few reasons. The prices are excellent, especially if they are haveing sales on certain items. Also, if you need pretty much anything, you can find it here such as cherry balls for dodgeball. It is a much nicer store on the inside than walmart. They also have pretty red shopping carts which are cool and plastic.
Despite the absurd prices of a simple cup of coffee, or in other cases insane blends of coffee, chocolate, whipped cream, ice, and caramel, all of the drinks here are amazing. I don't know what exactly they do differently than other places, but their coffee is just always excellent. it is probably the coffee beans that they use.
Buffalo Exchange is definitely the place to go if you like vintage style clothes, or if you just can't afford those $150 pair of diesel or paper jeans. It is great to be able to get some secondhand clothes for about one fifth the retail price. Good luck trying to find parking.
All American Apparel has a great thing going for them. i like the fact that everything is made in the United States and that means no exploiting cheap labor in other countries to get our $3 T shirts. Their clothes are sort of lame, however, as they are pretty unfashionable. The clothes look like Russel athletic wear, jsut blank, solid colors and no cool designs.
If you want to be a cool california preppy person and pop your collar with your spy sunglasses, then this is your store. Especially if you like paying $40 for a normal old T shirt that has some lame fake school or business on the fron such as "Jefferson High All Star Team Lacrosse". Not my idea of clothes, but it might appeal to you.
I personally dislike the style of clothes they sell at Old Navy, but for the prices they just can't be beat. I buy some shorts and shirts from here as long as they don't say Old Navy on them. I do not really like the image that they portray on their commercials and the people who wear their clothes.
The plethora of different varieties of food here will blow your mind. The food is very good, and they even do the stir fry right in front of you on the large woks. The food tastes pretty good, and it can't be beat for the $11 all you can eat admission price.
