Chicken Pie & Dinner
A taste of the simpler times. The Chicken Pie Dinner features a menu of nostalgic food chicken pot pie, malts, milk shakes, etc. Served in a 50's style setting. Music completes the atmosphere. The problem is a small seating area so if you go around dinner time be prepared for a wait. Also limited business hours also make dinning here a challenge. Over all the menu prices are reasonable but can make dinning with the kids quite pricing, besides the children may have a difficult time waiting for a table to become available. However, this would make for a wonderful place for a special night out for two or a great first date.
Hyundai of Escondido
The employees at this dealerships service department are incapable of following company guidelines for service. Because of there mistakes I had to bring my vehicle in on 3 sepearte days for a simple repair that should have been taken care of on day one. If you have a repair need for your Hyundia I suggest taking it to another dealership for service. I only got resulution to my promblems after calling Hyundia's compliant department.
Michaels
I love the wide selection and great sale prices. Employees are helpful and curtious. They offer a wide varitey of classes so that you can learn a new crafting skill.
Walmart Supercenter
Staff are helpful although always extremly busy. More check out clerks are needed at cash registers as check out is the worst part of the shopping experiance.
Kmart
Employees are not helpful and seem disinterested in their jobs. I am not sure if this is in direct relation to the fact that the store is closing as a Kmart and reopening as a Sears Home Essentals. The store is disorganized and dirty and employees openly fight among themselves infront of customers.
Valvoline Instant Oil Change
Although the quality of service is good at EZ lube the price for the simple oil change is staggering. I can not belive in this day in age that an oil change would be this expensive especially when you consider that many competing businesses can do the same oil change, in the same time frame for $10.00.
Nails by Kelly
Kelly does all manicures and pedicures herself. She is excellant with acrylics and standard manicures as well. I have never had a better manicure or pedicure at any price. Kelly's prices are very reasonable as well.
Eagle Motors
An honest mechanic, few and far between but all are honest at this local shop. They repair foreign and domestic cars and will never try to sell you on something. The prices are resonable and they are wonderful to work with.
