La Boxes Etc

This place has boxes. Lots of them and cheaper than most places. The employees are real friendly and helpful although they come on a little aggresively. I was moving an office and this place sure came in handy.

Quality Car Wash

There really isn't anything special about this place. They do a good job hand washing and cleaning the inside of the car. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are their discount days but they are pretty busy, expect to wait a good 20 mins. It's a nice, reliable place that does a good job

Washington Mutual

There isn't anything special about this place, the lines are usually really long and they have like 4in. thick bullet proof glass separating you with the teller so it's hard to hear them. This place is good for ATM usage, that's about it.

Diddy Riese Cookies

This place always has a line because the cookies are so good. It's right near UCLA and not only is the price indredibly low but the cookies are amazing. You can get an ice cream sandwich with your choice of cookies and ice cream for $1. If you're ever in Westwood Village, check it out

Bed Bath & Beyond

Although I don't go into this place as much, I can honestly say that the bed, bath, and beyond is a great place to go to when in need for any household item. This is one of the major places to hit up when moving.

Secondspin.com

This place is a decent used cd store. They have a few aorund so if they don't have what you're looking for, they may be able to find it somewhere else. You can listen to the music, sell your music, or buy some if you don't want to download it.

Dick's Sporting Goods

I went into this place looking for some sporting goods and while I stood in the same spot for a while trying to find a certain item I wasn't asked for assistance. I went to a register and found 4 people talking and after a good half minute, one acknowledged me. Should I have felt bad for interrupting their conversation?

24 Hour Fitness

I thought this place opening was going to be great. It wasn't really. The place is jammed and I swear the people at the front are aspiring DJs and actors because they get on the speaker and stay stupid stuff which is annoying. The company in general isn't bad, I often go to a different location, this place in particular attracts people I prefer not to workout around.

CVS/Pharmacy

Their 1 hour photo usually takes around 5-6 hours and the prices aren't too great either. As far as the customer service, they wait on who looks the most annoyed, not on who was there first. Of all the ones I've encountered, there was one guy who seemed to be a good employee, the others sit around and dream of a better job and act like it.

Laemmle's Town Center 5

What I love best is the theater is underground. It's what an art movie house was meant to be. There's usually plenty of room and without the ashton kutcher teens going here you don't have to get annoyed by people talking. Ticket prices are decent as well.
