Its hard to say anything bad about the Sheraton Universal Hotel. The staff here is some of the nicest and easiest to work with that I have ever seen. They have no problem handeling request or handing out discounts when they are at fault or if your stay was less than pleasant. They let you bring pets and have a nice green walk area for taking your dog out for walks.
If your a Hollywood buff and staying in town then you have to stay at the Beverly Plaza Hotel. The hotel is right off the infamous Rodaeo Drive. You know the one with the store that kicked Julia Roberts out of the store? Well needless to say there is great shopping right outside your hotel doors from famous name brand designers.
The Century Plaza and Spa is a little pricey for those of you that aren't starwood hotel members. If your a member though you can usually get rooms here for almost half the price. The hotel is right smack dab on the avenue of the stars. Its close to UCLA if your in town visiting people at the college and its far from the beach or beverly hills.
The Safari Inn is not stranger to the Hollywood industry. The list of movies and television shows filmed here are only matched by the number of bands who have their photo shoots here. If your in town for studio business this is a great location. The hotel is close to warner brothers and NBC. hey also offer business services to the business travelers like faxing, printing, and copying.
The curved beauty of architecture, The Westin Long Beach, couldnt be in a better location. Both Los Angeles International airport and orange county airport are a short drive from this hotel. Pets are welcomed here with the usual westin treats. There is a $25 pet fee but this is a small charge compared to most pet friendly hotels.
Friendly service for the fashionably chic. Thats what you will find at the VICEROY in Los Angeles. The staff here is worth every expensive penny you spend on the room. The concierge service is willing to do anything you need. Be it picking up a cage for your dog or a special drink that you cant live with out.
Hotel Oceana is a luxury hotel if you get the right suites. The hotel is only 3 floors high and only has suites. The hotel has hardwood flooring so if you dont want to hear people walking around above you all night you have to be on the third floor. Also, if you want a nice view of the ocean you have to be on the third floor.
The Radisson Huntley Hotel of Santa Monica is a great place for business travelers. The rooms are spacious and offer a good working environment. There is also a desk with data ports, a light and two line phone. If you start getting over run with your work just brew up a cup of complimentary coffee in your in room coffee maker and sit back and enjoy the view in your room.
The Four Points by Shearton in Santa Monica is an old average hotel. Theres nothing wrong with it except it can be a little over priced for what it is. They only way you can justify the price is with its location. If you plan on coming here make sure you shop around online first to get the best price. The hotel is close to the beach which is great.
Westin Atlanta is like its only little mirage in the middle of Atlanta. It surrounds a beautiful pond and garden area that can be viewed for almost everywhere in the hotel. The restaurant downstairs also has great views on the garden and pond that you can enjoy while dinning. The fitness center is amazing and is a great way to burn off the calories from the huge meal you will have at the restaurant.
