You will for sure need assistance trying to find anything in this place. Very small shed like business that carries every known animal feed, cage and supplies you could ever think of. They have things that Walmart and places like that don't carry because they don't sell. If you are looking for bird feeders, this is a good place to go as well. They also sell odd animals like guinea hens, rabbits and ducks.
PROS: carries a lot of hard to find animal items
CONS: very messy place
If you find yourself sick at night, on a holiday or over the weekend and need a physician to see you, this is the place. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The doctors on staff are A+, very caring, very thorough. Parking is ample, most insurances excepted, but since this is a private facility and not a free standing hospital, some insurances do not recognize nor do they pay to go to places that aren't Emergency Rooms.
PROS: Very kind doctors
This health care agency actually staffs only for their daughter who is a quadreplegic on a vent. The nurses (two at a time) love working here, but it is a family not a business really. I am not sure why they incorporated, maybe for tax reasons. But they do not staff for any patient except for their daughter. The family is wonderful to work for, and you are always staffed with one other nurse.
PROS: Great family to work for
CONS: not really a business, they staff for disabled daughter.
This is by membership only community heated pool, however they offer movie night open to the public. They also have a traveling swim team and have practices here daily in the summer starting in June. It has a 'baby pool' for younger swimmers that is only a few feet deep and then a full sized pool, snack shed, playground, basketball court, and sand play area, outside shower, bathrooms, changing room. Well supervise, lifeguards are on duty, but you need to watch you own child(ren).
This shop is located off the main street in Hammonton and often is obscured by patrons of Wawa. However, if you book an appointment to get your nails done, you will pay alot less here than in other salons in Hammonton. Their sanitary practices that I could see were adequit. Parking is only on the street. Hours of Mon-Sunday, 7 days a week. They offer some coupons in the local paper at times to get % off full manicures or pedicures.
PROS: look for coupons
CONS: no parking, only street
As you drive down Route #561 in Hammonton, you can smell freshy baked bread in the air. Lucca's bakery isn't like other bakeries, it only makes bread. Breads for local businesses and out of town businesses, and for the most part it isn't a retail shop. Most buyers are wholesale purchases. There is a small door on the side where I think for parties you can place a large order, but to purchase just a few loaves, this is not your bakery.
CONS: mostly deals with wholesale dealers
There are many of Hammonton's community functions held here. You can also have your wedding, sweet 16 parties, anniversary parties, etc. here. There is enough seating for 800 people when both dining rooms are opened. The food served here is 100% fresh, and the chefs pay close attention to detail. Not too spicy, not too bland, just perfection in cooking. I have yet to hear about a bad experience with this caterer from friends or family.
PROS: Excellent food
I have medium blonde hair and have highlighted and became blonde more times than I can count. I have my natural hair, color it, let it grow out and color it again, so I am very experienced with coloring my hair and what it should look like. I had never been to this salon, but my hairdresser moved, so I had to find a new salon. I told them what I wanted but what I walked out with was VERY BRASSY blonde hair. I had to go to another salon to have it toned down and fillers applied to make it look presentable. They have a big parking lot and they employee recent graduates (wish I knew that a long time ago!!) I am not sure about present pricing as it has been some time since I have frequented this establishment.
CONS: recent beauty grades hired
As long as you know that with any medical procedure, a second opinion is what you should get. If you find you need an orthopaedic specialist, coming here is a good place. The doctors are mostly affliated with William B. Kessler Memorial hospital, but some have surgical rights at other hospitals. Most insuraces are excepted, hours are convenient and there is always a medical specialist on call for night, Sunday and holiday hours. Parking is plentiful.
PROS: Good ortho care
If you get a set of nails, acrylic, manicure, etc. done get ready to shell out over $100.00. This place does a good job, BE CAREFUL with their sanitation practices with their tools and equipment. Their hours are convenient, even open on Sundays. They have very limited street parking only. Located on the corner, next to a pretty shady bar, so be careful.
CONS: sanitation problems in past, very expensive
