We generally do not like buffet restaurants because of their bland and boring food and were hesitant to try this place. But, while in the area, we decided to finally give it a shot. We were a little shocked to pay $40 for lunch for 2 adults and 2 small kids (on a Sunday, prices are a little cheaper during the week) and didn't expect to have to pay for sodas. But the food was more than worth it! Sushi, seafood, Chinese food, prime rib, pizza, Mongolian buffet, salad, dessert and much more! They also allow you to get items to go and charge by the pound. The staff was very friendly and always on the ball clearing plates and refilling sodas, not like what we've seen at other buffets where it seems an inconvenience to get your table bussed. We'll definitely be back ~ during the week when it's a little more affordable. From what I understand, not everything is offered at lunch but I think it will still be worth the money.
PROS: EXCELLENT food, not what you'd expect of a buffet!
CONS: Weekend, holiday prices. No free sodas.
I chose this salon because of their hours (open at 9am which is very convenient for me) and because a friend had said she had heard good things about them.
It was the worst experience I've ever had with acrylic nails. She was rude, changing the channel on the TV while I and another patron were obviously watching a movie ... all because she didn't like it and wanted to watch a different one.
I paid extra for "pink and white" and they looked absolutely horrible. She didn't shape the white herself, she used the end of a tip and it looked so bad. I told her I didn't like it but she assured me it would be better when done. I told the polish lady that I didn't like them and she just shrugged her shoulders.
The nails were ugly , uneven and misshapen and started lifting the next day. Within 3 days a dark spot starting forming under my thumbnail ~ FUNGUS. I immediately took the nails off and will NEVER go back.
PROS: They sell knock-off purses and shoes if you don't want to drive to San Fran
CONS: Everything. Just don't go here.
Les Schwab consistently provides excellent service! I once worked for one of their competitors but , after moving away, have come to rely on Les Schwab for their honesty, speed and service and will go nowhere else for brakes, tires, wheels or other under car repairs.
The service in the Fairfield store is as excellent as any other Les Schwab store I've visited. There is nowhere in Fairfield I'd rather go! Thank you for living up to the guarantee!
PROS: Honesty & Speed
I love the fact that I only pay $19 a month for my membership! If I can't make it to the gym, I don't feel bad for wasting money. I belonged to a larger gym before and paid almost 5 times as much and never used all the amenities. Fitness 19 doesn't have all the amenities of larger, higher priced gyms but is a nice place to go work out. The machines are all functional and the staff is friendly.
There are no locker rooms, only restrooms and changing rooms. I'd LOVE if there were showers, but for the price I don't think I can complain.
The child care is very affordable, though very crowded at times.
CONS: No showers.
This is our second year with season passes to Marine World and we fully intend on using it over and over again! I've been to Six Flags Magic Mountain and Disneyland twice in the past year and none of those experiences compare to the ones we've had at Marine World.
Yes, the food is costly. That's an amusement park for ya. The best thing to do is to buy one of their soda cups for $8 and get 99cent refills throughout the day. Very worth it. If you don't want to pay for the food in the park, you can bring a cooler and eat at a picnic table in the parking lot or go across the street to Carls Jr. They let you bring your own water bottles into the park, so freeze them before you come to make it through the hot day.
The kid's area is great! I have a 3yr old and a 5yr old. My oldest can go on a few of the bigger rides but we spend quite a bit of time in the kids' area because of our youngest. They never get bored!! The only complaint I have is that the ride operators measure the kids over and over and over again. This is very time consuming and holds up the line. If they could just pass out different color bracelets for different heights it would make things go much smoother.
We love Medusa and Vertical Velocity!! Those are rides we'll stand in line over and over for!
The new Ocean Discovery was great, even though we had to pay $4 each to feed the dolphins. It was worth it for the pictures and the chance to pet and get them to do tricks! The kids loved being able to touch the stingrays and see the penguins swim! And the shows!!!!!! Shouka, the dolphins, sea lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes ... oh my!
Always entertaining and so very worth it!!!!!
PROS: Great summer entertainment!
CONS: Long lines in the heat, but not their fault
Monsoon believes that if you like Fudrucker's you'll love their burgers ... they are so right!!
Excellent burgers cooked to order. I wish they hadn't taken away the cheese fries, but the garlic fries are just as good. The kids love the dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets and love to watch the fish in the tank. And dear hubby loves the big screen TV to entertain him while he eats!
They always have a coupon out to get a free soda with every burger purchased which is an excellent deal!
PROS: Excellent burgers!
CONS: Sometimes the bacon is overcooked
Excellent atmosphere! Excellent service! Excellent food!
The food at Red Robin is always fantastic! On the rare occasion that a burger has been undercooked or something hasn't been up to our satisfaction, it has always been taken care of right away.
We have dined during both lunch and dinner hours and have had great service every time! Most of the servers bring us a basket of fries immediately without us even asking, which is wonderful when dining with hungry kids!
CONS: Sometimes busy, but can't complain about popularity!
I have tried many items on the menu at Strings and am always impressed! Their house salad is great and the fact that they offer a Kids Eat Free night is absolutely wonderful!
The casual atmosphere is just perfect for a family but isn't too laid back to deter business diners. We have had absolutely wonderful service every time we go!
PROS: Kids Eat Free Night, Service
Dynasty has an excellent mongolian grill at such a reasonable price! While most asian restaurants in this area are ridiculous about the price of their bbq and charging extra for waste, kids, etc, Dynasty isn't nearly as bad and is very fair.
Their Kung Pao chicken is great. The service is great with water & sodas filled before you'd know it. My husband is very picky but we've found a winner with Dynasty!
PROS: Mongolian BBQ!
CONS: ? Can't think of any
The service at this location is great! Our server was very attentive and we enjoyed our meal. The only con is that they do not offer a lunch menu on Sundays. Most restaurants will give it to you when you ask, but Carino's is very strict about it. Otherwise the value, service and ambiance are wonderful. The food is absolutely delicious!
PROS: VERY VERY good food!
CONS: No lunch menu on Sundays
