They have a classic Italian Menu with dishes such as pizza, pasta, salads, and sandwiches. It makes a great place for youth sports team's banquets and end-of season parties.
This is a great scrap-booking store. They have an array of stickers (Ms. Grossman to other acid free brands), papers and tools for anything creative. This is one the most expansive paper options I have seen outside of a specialized paper store. They offer classes and workshops in various creative crafts but I believe they specialize in scrap-booking.
These guys will definatly give you a good exam. They dont miss a thing. They will give you everything you need and you won't be disapointed. I would recomend This place.
Longs Drugs is a great place for cheap candy. You should stop by any time, When you need candy, drinks, or anything else. You can get chips too if you need them.
FedEx Kinkos has saved my life several times. They are open later than other copy centers. They also know how to bind your projects really nicely and make it look professional. It is worth the somewhat expensive cost of those services.
Frog's was a great place to do everything-except work out. They had amazing basketball and tennis courts, along with a full-size swimming pool, but the gym was crowded and cramped.
Although Sport Chalet does not focus mainly on shoes like footlocker, they usually have a bunch of good shoes you won't find at the bigger name stores. The shoes are cheap as well. I like to go to sport chalet to play on the golf simulation. It sure beats shopping the normal way. Not all the stuff are name brands but there is everything.
Some people don't like stores because they are expensive. I don't like this store because they wouldn't take my CDs. C'mon I had like brand new albums and all i wanted was a buck a piece and they wouldn't take it. The used cd prices are also not that great since they are 9 bucks. Another dollar will get you a brand new one at best buy. It's not even worth buying new cds here. It's like sam goody prices. OUCH. But they do have t shirts for tolerable prices. I would reccomend going to the store for those.
I like CompUSA because its focused mostly on computers and not other electronics. They usually have some pretty cool stuff out to play around with (like a huge plasma last time I went) and carry a lot of stuff I can't find elsewhere. Sometimes the employees dont know what your talking about.
The Apple Store in La Jolla is a marvel of technology. You'll notice to Apple-themed areas and the abundance of Ipods and Mac computers. This place has style. Customer representatives are nice, however I felt that one was trying to hard to sell to me. If you are looking to buy a mac or anything apple, this is the place to go.
