They have the best Daiquiris in town. I have been going here for over 10 years for my daiquiris. When my in-laws come in town, they like to go here for a daiquiri. They don't have walk in daiquiri places like we do.

Their selections are great. You can mix and match. It's great supply for great prices.

They charge too much to help you find a home. Usually they show you all Ghetto houses. It's definitely not worth the money you pay them or your time. Definitely a WASTE

Christus Schumpert Medical Center

With my latex allergy it's very important that doctors and staff keep in mind that this is a deadly allergy. The staff has always been considerate of my situation and have researched everything before any supply touches my skin.

I have been in the ER mostly and the staff and atmosphere is always as nice as can be under the circumstances. I would recommend.

Mastercuts

I went in here to get a simple hair cut. They were rude to me. The lady that cut my hair barely got any of it wet. She botched the job. She told me with my hair type it's better to cut it dry. Well needless to say. I have been there ONCE and WON'T go back. They had terrible customer service and provided terrible service.

Their prices are cheap, but you get what you pay for most certainly.

Aafes Beauty Shop

The few times I have gone in, there is only one person working. The sign says walk-ins welcome. I have never ever been able to get in there to get my hair washed and cut. They have been rude every time I have been in. I am not impressed.

The prices are high b/c the items are mostly name brands. Their brand clothing is good priced and quality. They have a good selection of items. Sometimes you can find a good deal. We usually get our electronics there, dog food (we have 2 large dogs), fish tank supplies and housewares. We got our lawn mower, weedeater and attachments here. Their prices are comparable to Walmart on most things, I believe.

Barksdale Shoppette

You can pick up last minute items there. They have pretty good prices for a convenience store. They have good selection of a variety of items. It's usually clean. If they have spills or anything, it is marked clearly when you come in the door.

The Funny Bone

I have been here several times. Never had any problems or reactions there. The two drink minimum is not just alcohol, you can get water or sodas. The staff is friendly and you are due a laugh no matter who the comedian is.

PROS: Gives military discount
CONS: Sometimes too smoky

Bath & Body Works

The staff is very helpful. If you are looking for a smell but not sure what it's called they usually can find it for you. They run good sales. I like this store. It's always clean.

Capital One Bank

I have had vehicle loans and line of credit through Hibernia and have never had a problem. Their automated phone service is great. Easy to maneuver. I would recomment them.
