If you need an attorney, you should definitely consider Arnstein & Lehr. They have experienced lawyers in almost every area of practice. This is a very professional and upscale practice; not a fly-by-night operation run by shysters. So you can be confident about going to them. One of their lawyers in the non-profit/trade association area has given me lots of advice over the years.
This zoo is pretty small and not very exciting. Also, there have been a few LP zoo animal deaths in the news recently, which is kinda sad. The best thing about the zoo is that it's free. But I really can't recommend coming here. If you want to go to a real zoo, head out to Brookfield.
If you are looking for something fun to do on the weekend, head out to the Garfield Park Conservatory. It's a great place to go in winter, since you can see a lot of green plants and colorful flowers to brighten up your day. It's also fun in summer since you can then walk around the campus and go shopping. There's plenty of free parking in the Conservatory lot or at the park.
There's only so much D&B-style entertainment I can take before I crave something new. Lazer Zone fills that void. If you like laser tag type games then this is the place for you. Bring your friends and team up for an all-out war. It was a fun time and not as expensive as some of the video game places like GameQuest or DisneyQuest.
This is a pretty good little place to get a haircut. The time I went there, I had a nice stylist. She did a good job and I was happy with the service. I recommend Heads You Win if you are tired of paying the high prices for more trendy salons.
I have been a patient at this hospital several times. Each time I received very good care and was treated as an individual rather than as one of many patients that come and go. I never had any problems to speak of. Hospitals are generally not fun places to go, but at least I was comfortable here.
The OP Food Market is a nice little place to pick up a few quick groceries. I don't think I would go here for heavy shopping because it doesn't seem like they have enough of a variety of products, but if you need something for tonight's dinner, there's no problem with stopping by. Prices are a little high, but better than a convenience store.
The Book Table is a great little store where you can find new and used titles at deep discounts. Who said small bookstores are more expensive than the big chains? This store dispels that notion. Also, they are very good with ordering titles that they don't have in stock... all at no extra cost to you.
Trying to fly a kite is a rite of childhood. We all had to pass that test, didn't we? These days, instead of getting little plastic kites from the convenience store, they've got much more elaborate offerings. This is a unique store in that they've got so many kites to choose from. You can go from basic to fancy, with corresponding price ranges. Check it out!
We all know that flowers and plants enhance our homes, right? But some of us just don't have the "green thumb" required to care for the plants. If you're like me, you need to get some artificial flowers. This store sells the good kind, not the cheesy ones, so don't worry. They're not very expensive either (and of course there's no care or upkeep required).
