Located just a few miles north of Hearst Castle, this 2-star inn is clean and comfortable with large rooms. I'm generally a hotel snob, but was quite happy with this affordable accomodation. They have an indoor pool that can be enjoyed at any time of the year.
It's so frustrating when you're ready to drop a bundle on a pricey toy and nobody seems to want to sell it to you. This Best Buy should be better staffed.
When you walk into this bank located in a historic building, you might think it's quaint. But when you actually bank there, you'll find that the building isn't the only thing that takes you back. Their processes are antiquated, which often causes confusion about your account, something you can avoid by banking elsewhere.
The location is oh so central. The beds are oh so perfectly right (great after a long day of hiking around the city). The hotel services are excellent and the rooms are clean and comfortable. What more could you want?
I'm not a big fan of the Sears Tower Observatory. It's overcrowded with tourists and expensive. The views are good, but the experience is ruined by the crowds. For similar views but a better experience, take it from this former Chicago resident and go to the Signature Room Bar in the John Hancock building. You're up almost as high, and for the same price, you can sit down, have a drink and watch the sunset in a relaxing environment.
Rex Stationers did all the printing for my wedding and I couldn't be happier with the results. The invitations were perfect, and of such high quality that they still look beautiful in my scrapbook 10 years later. They also did the printing on our napkins, and printed our thank-you cards. I love the work they did and couldn't recommend them highly enough. I also found them to be very reasonably priced, so how could you go wrong?
This location is a little larger than many of the other locations in the LA area, and because it's located in Hollywood you're probably less likely to find goods found in your grandmother's home and a little more likely to find something from your hip neighbors in the condo next door.
This Out of the Closet location gives you everything you've come to expect from an Out of the Closet, a decent mid-sized thrift store with clothes, furniture, shoes and household goods. The staff here is always friendly.
This Out of theCloset location is not it's best. I have found the staff to be very unfriendly, and the selection is average. I often donate used items here because of the convenient location in the heart of Pasadena.
This Salvation Army is huge and full of nothing special. Anything of any value must be sent around the corner to their small shop on Waverly, which I highly recommend looking into since you're already in the neighborhood.
