Todai Japanese Seafood Buffet
This is probably the best buffet in san diego in my opinion. They have everything (especially the sushi, its so good!) and have all kinds of asian food. They have the most seafood I have ever seen and manage to keep this place really nice and clean. Its a little pricey, but I'll gladly pay the price for this delicious food.
CompUSA
this place knows exactly what computer geeks need. low prices, lots of stuff, and fast service. this is probably the only place i can walk into, ask a deep computing question, and get an answer not too much longer after that. their prices are usually excellent and much cheaper than other stores, and i like the extra stuff they have around, like case modding accesories and more. this place rocks!
Vons
Vons has been the super market that i've gone to since I was only a child. They always have good food for cheap prices since I can remember. Its basically the one stop shop for everything that you will have to stick into your body. The workers are nice and the cashiers are fast, so you can save and get your shopping done pretty quickly. for those who are on the go.
Toys R Us
This is the perfect place for kids, its basically kid heaven. Aisles and aisles for stuff for kids, from barbies to robots. They also have a pretty nice selection of games, both video and board games, so the family can get something nice to play. This place gets really hectic around holiday season, but they almost always have pretty nice sales going on.
Borders
Borders is a wonderful place to get some nice books or other sophisticated-type of materials. It seems like a more mature version of Barnes and Noble and has either the same or lower pricing than them. The staff is nice and always manages to greet everyone when they enter, and sometimes they have really cheap books that I had interest in. A pretty good book store overall.
See's Candies
I wish I could have eaten more candy when I was a kid. This place is everything you need when you have a sweet tooth. They have chocolate (really really good chocolate if i may add), hard candies, soft candies and more! Everytime I go they have a greater who gives out samples then rows and rows of goodness. The chocolate is a little pricey (20 dollars for 2 pounds), but well worth it.
Barnes & Noble Booksellers
This place is a great place to get some good reading material. Books and magazines galore! I even found some pretty rare magazines here for sale. Sometimes they have sales (like last time I went) which are great, because they usually sell best sellers for low prices (i grabbed the Da Vinci Code). I wish more book stores had this type of enviroment, sometimes i want to just sit down and get into reading.
Best Buy
this place is pretty nice for those who are bored or are shopping for electronics. its pretty darn huge and covers just about everything someone might need in their house, from big screen tvs to vacuum cleaners. their pricing is a little high, but i guess thats okay since its located around a pretty wealthy area. their sales are something that always keeps me coming back.
Best Buy
i remember when best buy first came to san diego, everyone thought it was amazing and blew all other electronic stores out of the water. but now that they have settled down, their prices are a tad higher than other competitors and their service supposedly isnt too great. i guess its still a good store to buy from, but my experiences with them arent exactly phenomenal.
Just Tennis
this place is awesome for tennis players. they have all the supplies any player would need, from rackets, balls, grips, shoes, gloves, and more. however, their workers are mostly high school students and usually seem too lazy to help out and sell stuff. but i guess i have to remember that most high school students visit this store to get their supplies for sports. not a bad store.
