Stone Oven has the best soup and dessert! We are especially fond of their lemon tarts! But, the cookies and brownies are great too, and I cannot forget to mention their carrot cake! It is one of the best we have ever eaten! The soups are so hearty, that a cup will fill you up! The bread and butter they include with every order is also so delicious! We highly recommend this Bakery/Eatery to everyone!
I get lost when I go to Borders! Not because I don't know where I am...It's the selection! I go in for one book or CD, and I find a thousand more I want to buy! Well not a thousand, but at least 5 or 6 more! I love everything at Borders! The entertainment they bring in to play music while you are walking around the store is terrific too. They make you feel so comfortable, you don't want to leave! Thank you Border's!
I like to shop at Kohls. They have a wonderful selection of clothing, shoes, household furnishings, jewelery, bath and body products etc.. You name it, Kohl's has it! Their clothing departments seem to carry a better quality of clothing than K mart and some of the other department stores. I do have one suggestion, when they advertise a sale, they need to get more of the items they have on sale...especially tennis shoes! When they do this, they will be a 5 instead of a 4 in my rating book.
Marcs is a great place to shop when you have a lot of time to shop! They carry everything under the sun. Their prices are terrific too! I don't know why they got rid of the senior citizens who would greet you as you came in the store asking if you wanted a shopping cart. I think they should bring them back! Don't you?
We used to love Alesci's. We grew up going to Alesci's with our parents. Every Saturday we would go to Alesci's. But, that won't happen anymore. On a recent visit to the store in South Eucllid, we were sold Pepper Ham that looked so rotten I couldn't believe the sales person told my husband there was nothing wrong with it! With all of the Listeria going on all over the world who needs this. Shame on you Alesci's!
Bed Bath & Beyond is one store I love to take my time in when shopping. There is so much to look at. The items they carry are priced so low. You can find almost anything you need under this one roof. I know they have been around a long time, but, I have only started shopping in their stores about two years ago. I am so glad I was introduced to Bed Bath & Beyond!
What can I say about Office Max, love it, love it, love it! I enjoy designing my own business cards, letterhead, flyer's, brochures etc..Office Max always has what I need when it comes to their selection of graphic design paper. I buy so many office supplies at Office Max. And, I love the fact that they keep their prices DOWN when it comes to their fees for making copies. Office Max is a great store with so much to offer.
Recently I needed a piece of fabric for my new spa. I decided to go to Joann's. I wanted to go to the new store in University Heights. First the good news. They had a wonderful selection of oriental fabrics for me to chooses from. They had patterns that I didn't see in any other stores. So, I did make my purchase from their store. Now the bad news. Joann needs to let customers know how to find the store! We had a very hard time figuring out how to get to the store. I have friends who have said the same thing. You know the store is there, but, the directions to the store parking lot are not clear. Please fix this, so I can change your rating from a 4 to a 5!
We love the variety of products at Lowes. We recently purchased a fireplace for our living room. It is beautiful and has kept us warm all winter long. We shop Lowes before checking any other stores for our home remodeling needs. I do have one suggestion for them. They need to hire more people to handle the amount of people in the store. There doesn't seem to be enough sales people. I would have given them 5 stars instead of 4, if I didn't have this suggestion for their corporate office to note.
When we became interested in health and nutrition, this was one of the places we discovered. We would go and shop for what we needed. Some of their prices are a little higher than the chain type health food stores, but, we don't mind paying the extra pennies. Mustard Seed has some great products that you can't find at the chain stores. They offer classes and have a wonderful restaurant, serving freat food. They have a second location in Akron. Even though it takes us about 35 - 40 minutes to drive to this location, we will. If there is something we need, and can only find it at Mustard Seed in Akron, we will drive there to get it. That's how much faith we have in the products they offer.
