Getting orthodontic work done is never fun or comfortable, but going to Joseph Gordon for orthodontic work is the closest thing you will get to it. Each time I walk in, I am greeted by name, I am quickly brought to the chair to have my work done, conversation among the patients is lively and fun and the work is done with care and efficiency. This is a superb place to go for any orthodontic work. The only negative is that the location can be difficult to either access or leave depending on which way you are coming or going, but the service makes up for it.
Kahoots Animals & Supplies
Kahoots Animals and Supplies offers a plethora of toys, food and supplies for you furry family member. The store is roomy, well kept and animal friendly. The prices are close to expensive, but the products are of quality. Parking and accessibility is good, as the store is located in a large shopping center with a large amount of parking spaces.
Bath & Body Works
Bath and Body Works of Mira Mesa offers the same great products that all Bath and Body Works offers. Normally I receive good customer service at Bath and Body Works so it was a bit frustrating to experience poor customer service while shopping for products. In addition to the lack of customer service, the location of the store is inconveniently located and parking is a difficult to find.
Old Navy
Old Navy is normally a good shop for me as I enjoy their fun t-shirts and various other clothing items from skirts to work out clothing. Old Navy Mira Mesa offers the above merchandise, however the comfort level when shopping and making your way to the store makes this store just satisfactory. The shopping center that the store is located in is located near the freeway so if you miss your turn to enter the shopping center you either get on the freeway or hit several streets that do not allow you to make a u-turn to make your way back to the store. Once you are in the shopping center parking lot, you quickly realize that finding a parking spot brings back flashbacks of looking for a spot during those first few weeks at college, its near impossible! Finally reaching the store, and walking into the air conditioned building, you are quickly refreshed, until you look around and realize that you will be fighting your way to your favorite t-shirt and the lines to the cashier are more than a few people long. If you can wait until a weekday morning to head off to this store, it will be worth your while.
Akai Hana
Dining at the Shein of Osaka in Rancho Bernarndo is an excellent experience in every facet. The service from entry to exit is attentive and timely. The sushi chefs are fun, entertaining and extremely accommodating. The food is incredible and definitely rates at the top of the charts for its quality. Frequenting this restaurant many times, it is apparent that there are many regulars that enjoy this sushi haven, some that drive from other counties to experience this sushi. Parking is not a problem as the Shien of Osaka is located in shopping center with a large parking lot. If planning a night out to this restaurant on a Friday or Saturday, plan for a bit of a wait, about 30-45 minutes, but it is well worth it.
24 Hour Fitness
24 Hour Fitness in San Diego at the Carmel Mountain location is a satisfactory club. The club is a Sport, which usually means that the amenities are better and the gym is a level higher than the regular 24 Hour Fitness Centers. This club is not at the level of most "Sports". It is small, slightly cramped, and the equipment is average. The club is always clean and parking is usually not a problem, even in the busiest hours.
Glen Ivy Hot Springs Spa
If you are looking for an inexpensive way to have fun with your friends, family or significant other, Glen Ivy is a great place to go. Walking into the spa you are immediately touched by the relaxation and joyful feeling that customers are feeling while enjoying their spa day. A cafe and a snack shop that includes healthy foods, wine, champagne and fruit juices assist in leaving the spa feeling cleansed, and relaxed. The spa facilities included in the entrance price are a full size swimming pool that periodically throughout the day is full of swimmers taking an aerobic class, a pool that is only a few feet deep and full of mats to layout on, three jacuzzies, two of which includes a rough bottom to clean and smooth the bottom of your feet, a mud pile to paint over your body as a body mask to cleanse your skin, and a sulfur pools to soften your skin. In addition to these many amenities that all come at an inexpensive price, each customer can schedule spa procedures at an additional fee. If going in the summer months and weekends, prepare for a crowd, but it is well worth it. Glen Ivy is a great way to spend your day!
Michaels
Michaels Arts & Crafts store is a arts and crafts lovers dream. Walking into the store, which is located very closely to an easily accessible parking lot, you will see many areas of arts and crafts supplies. To the right, the isles are filled with ribbons, bows, flowers, candles and many other supplies that are geared toward decorative crafts, weddings and the arrival of a new baby. To the left of the entrance to the store, there are isles full of craft supplies for hobbies such as scrap booking, cross-stitching, knitting, painting and building model cars. The prices a Michaels are low.
When shopping at Michaels be prepared to wait in line and maneuver your way through people as the store is often crowded with not enough customer service representatives. If you can get past this, Michaels is the place to go for your arts and crafts needs.
Penasquitos Pet Clinic
Penasquitos Pet Clinic offers a loving place for your furry family members. From arrival, to follow up after your pet has had his or her visit there, the customer service goes beyond service to genuine care for your pet. During the procedures, the staff are gentle, loving and soothing to nervous pets and playful and affectionate with pets that feel right at home. The prices at the clinic are average and all of the procedures and reasons for payment are explained clearly. If you are looking for a place you feel comfortable leaving your pet at, with good customer service and comparable prices, Penasquitos Pet Clinic is the place for you.
Poway Honda
Poway Honda delivers very good service. There was one area that was poor and others that are above average. Arriving at the dealership, I was quickly greeted and helped even though there were several cars in line. After the initial greeting, I was led into a comfortable office area and within 5 minutes I was given an estimate, updated in the system and on my way. I was also greeted by a man offering a complimentary shuttle service.
Within two hours of leaving I was called by a service technician and explained why my car needed additional work than originally discussed. I was given information on what would happen if I did not get the extra services performed and a time frame for when I would need to have it performed. There was no pressure to have the extra services performed and I feel I was given enough information to make a good decision.
Within an hour I was called and was told my car was ready and if I needed a shuttle I could have one come pick me up. I opted for this service and told them I would call back when I was ready. This is where I encountered poor customer service. The service receptionist gave poor service and little information.
The pricing for the labor and parts was fair for a dealership, lower than I expected compared to estimates I had been given by non-dealerships.
