The folks here have dry cleaning down to a science. They do all of their cleaning/laundering on site, and if you have the items in by 9am, you can pick them up after 5pm.
They cost $2 or less for most apparel, and can even handle jobs like king-sized bed spreads (priced appropriately, of course).
Never had anything damaged or lost, but if you need alterations, don't stop here because they just take it across the street and it's no quicker than if you'd take your things yourself!
In the era of 'in by 9am, out by 5pm, pay $2.00 or less', this cleaner boasts really slow service (come back in 3 days) and the prices are old-time dry cleaner prices! ($11.00 for two shirts and one pair of pants).
The quality of workmanship, packaging and customer service wasn't any more upscale than the bargain joints, so save your $$ and buy more clothes!
If you're looking for quality craftsmanship, relatively speedy service and reasonable prices, look no more. From the simple hemming of pants to the more complicated garment alterations, this shop really handles it all, and quite well!
I joined curves, hoping to find the bond with other women who aren't really exercise freaks. Curves offers a 30-minute workout, reportedly as effective as the workout you'd receive at the big $ gyms.
I found the ladies at this Curves location to be exclusionary, cliquish and not welcoming to strangers.
I joined for one year, and quit after about 2 months due to the uncomfortable environment.
My sister goes to a Curves in Ohio and raves about the camaraderie and how much fun she has working out, so it seems the members and staff really can make or break this type gym!
PROS: quick workout
CONS: Interesting interpersonal environment
If you're a gift-sending person, I highly recommend sending a bouquet of cookies! You can get as few or as many as you'd like, and the folks here will help you select something that's perfect for your occasion.
If you'd like to create your own, they'll help you, or they have 'standard' bouquets for every occasion.
Not only are these bouquets unique, the cookies are quite tasty and very pretty!
I had my car washed/detailed here and it was a pretty decent job, friendly people, but the price tag (way over $100 for a sedan) was a bit steep!
I like the oil change/car wash combo places for basic cleaning but would splurge on a full detail here if I won the lotto!
Paisley's is a place that offers a complimentary car wash along with an oil change, at about the same price charged for just the oil change at other lube/tune joints!
They'll send your car through the wash, do the inside of the windows and sweep it out - all while you wait!
Nice to get a spiffed up car along w/the needed oil change service!
I had a wedding ring that was my mom's, that needed to have the ring guard removed and sized for my finger. I took it to Quik Set and they also cleaned and appraised it for me, for no additional charge.
The service was professional and it was ready when promised.
My cat was hospitalized with Dr. Thayer, who shares the office w/this clinic.
I went in after hours and they were more than accommodating in providing me with an update on how my cat was doing and they let me visit with him....really made a great impression!
Prices are reasonable and they seem quite efficient!
I had a water backup (caused by something in the line between the yard and the house) and called Roto Rooter around 5pm on a Friday night. I was leaving for work, and they called, reconfirmed the man was on the way and he was here and gone by 6pm! Amazing!
I used an online coupon and it was just about $100...not a bad price for an evening, emergency call!
I'll definately use them again for my plumbing needs!
