Renton Inn is a small local motel. Its right off the busy Sunset Blvd. in downtown Renton. If youre in a pinch this motel might work for you, but the rooms are pretty small and the beds not very comfortable so I wouldnt recommend it to anyone with a bad back. The price is fair for what you get in the area.
Cascades Camp and Conference Center offers a variety of camps for children, including a Horse Camp where they teach you how to take care of and ride a horse. My daughter has visited the camp a few times and each time has had a great time. The staff treat the kids well and really have a fun time with them. If you cant afford the cost of camp, they do have some partial scholarships available, so be sure to ask if you are in need.
Cascade Bowling Alley is a fun place to take your kids for a game of bowling. They do allow smoking and gambling there so its best to take your kids during the daytime hours. Summer is a great time for them and you can often find coupons on your receipts from QFC right next door.
Snowboard Connection had a great selection of snowboards, skateboard and other gear. The staff were very helpful and were quick to answer any questions that we had. They had some free stuff that you could take and we found a great snowboard poster. The prices seemed a little high, but they did have some high quality stuff.
Damon McGruder helped us when we were looking to purchase our first home. He gave us all the information we needed to get started and to help us understand how the process works. He showed us a few homes and was quick to point out new ones on the market. Mr. McGruder was very easy-going and friendly and I was very impressed with him.
Kellogg Appraisal Service did a wonderful job at appraising our home. Mr. Kellogg came when he said he would and not only was he friendly, but he also offered advice about some things that might need updating in the future. I was very impressed with his personal skills and would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs their home appraised.
North Bensen Music Center is a smaller music store that offers instruments for sale, though not many, sheet music and other music items. The store is crowded but you can find some neat things in there. I did find that their customer service was lacking somewhat. They were to order a part for my instrument and it never came and they didnt really try to get another part. For my trouble, they did give me some free strings though and I appreciated that.
Baze Chiropractic had a booth at Renton River Days and after having my spine checked, they offered a free consultation at the office. The office staff was friendly and helpful, though they did end up charging my insurance a small fee, so not the free consult like they said. Unfortunately, our medical insurance ran out and I havent been able to visit again, but I would definitely consider them when I need a chiropracter again.
Cascade Cleaners does a good job on dry cleaning clothes. I havent tried them for drapery or anything like that, but when I took a dress and a down coat in to be cleaned, they came back clean and fresh. The price was reasonable and the cashier friendly. They also did a fast job.
Champs Karting is a great place for the guys, both young and old. You can race Go-Karts here as well as play pool or video games. Its not the best family envirement, but definitely something to enjoy if you like Go-Kart racing. They do have a snack bar so you wont go hungry.
