A disappointment for me, since its really all about kiddie rides. The park seems to be kept up nice, but it really only caters to young children. So if you like screaming and crying over ice cream or popcorn, this is the place. The cost to get in was refreshingly low. A nice alternative to Knotts or disneyland for the young ones.

Nickle Nickle

I love how cheap this place is when every other arcade costs a fortune. They have old and newer games, and the interior is a bid shoddy, but it works for cheap entertainment.

Deaf Resources Ctr Public

I have visited this library on many occasions and like the layout. Its easy to navigate through and the computers are in separate quiet rooms. The staff is fairly unpleasant, but one goes there for the books, not the service.

Indian Sweets & Groceries

The first time I visited India sweets, the staff was short and rude. But when i went again with a bejeweled tunic on, they were instantly my friend. Traditional grocery items and deli serving warm food and cold deserts and salads, its great for a cheap fix. Not too clean, but yummy!

Lucky Coin Laundry

No one likes to go to the laundro-mat, but it works. Apartment living forces you to go, so this place works out nice when you want to do three weeks worth of laundry in 2 hours. Pretty clean and never crowded, Lucky Coin works out well.

A great store for all of your exercising needs. I'm not a small woman and I was able to find sizes to fit me ( which is sometimes hard to find). You won't get Target prices here, but your gear should last years rather than weeks.

FedEx Office Print & Ship Center

Kinko's is always there to save the day. Though their services are someitmes on the high side, I am always impressed by the quality products they put out. I use them for both school and business products, so their hours of operation are a big plus!

Calvary Chapel South Bay

Faces are smiling, but the huge hollow feel gave us the creeps. The church was recommended by a friend that said their church "accepted everyone". Perhaps that much is true, but no one welcomed or talked to us or shook our hands.

Textbooks Inc

Right next to Caffeine, the coffee shop, this place is always bustling during the first couple weeks of classes. Cheaper books, but you can't get every title you are looking for. The staff is nice, but the lines are very long.

PROS: Cheaper books, they buy back books too!
CONS: long lines, all titles not available
