My husband buys all my jewelry here and they always remember us when we walk in there to buy another piece. Their prices are pretty much exactly where they should be. Plus, I have gone back many times just to get a piece of jewelry cleaned and they are always accommodating. If you're looking for a great piece of jewelry that will last a lifetime at a great price... go to Fords Jewelers.
I was recently in a wedding party and we got everything from this David's Bridal. We did end up saving money on our dresses, but the alterations were outrageous. If your dress fits, you get a great bargain.... if you need it altered, beware!! My friends wedding dress was pretty cheap, but after alterations it was almost as much as a regular bridal shop. The staff was just ok. They could have been friendlier. One girl brought her 8 month old son with her and one of the sales women was rude and said she couldn't bring her son into the dressing room with her. Needless to say, we ignored her and brought him in with us. Then 10 minutes later the lady was sweet as pie because she wanted our commission... TOO BAD... we used a different sales woman.
From start to finish.... my experience at Wegmans in Manalapan is always AWESOME!! The parking lot is always free of loose carts which is a HUGE plus... means no dented car when I come back to my car. Next, the store is always immaculate and the staff is friendly. The quality of food is great, too!! We sometimes get this chocolate brownie chocolate chip cookie cake.... it is HEAVENLY (but bad for my diet... lol).
I was given a gift certificate for a full day of beauty for Valentines Day for here. From beginning to end, the entire experience was WONDERFUL!! The staff is very friendly and are expertises in their area. I got everything from a massage to haircut/style done that day. I remember leaving feeling so refreshed and relaxed.
I would definitely reccomend this place if you need alittle (or a lot) pampering!!!
PROS: Great staff.... awesome place!!!
We just recently had my son's 2nd birthday party here. We looked at places like Check E Cheese and Fun Tine, but we found that there wasn't much for a 2 year old at these places. So, we picked The Discovery House. We ended up having 12 children (with their parents) plus my 2 children. The children had so much fun that it was hard to gather them up for pizza/cake. The staff was also very friendly.
There's so much for children to do here including a news studio with real working cameras for them to play with.
I have to say that my only complaint was I wish they did pizza/cake as soon as the party started then let the kids play as long as they wanted. It was so hard to gather the children up and pull them away from playing to eat.
For the number of children and adults we had (they all had pizza and cake) I have to say this was very moderately priced. I feel like I really got a great value for what we got for the price.
Overall, I would definitely bring my children back here to play. We even got a ticket for a free admission for my son on a future visit.
PROS: Great place for children!!
I have been bringing my children here since they've been born. I usually always see one particular doctor, unless she isn't available (if it's an emergency). When my son was first born, I called A LOT with questions because I was a first time mom. They always answered my questions and didn't make me feel stupid about calling. The doctor I usually see is very friendly and great with my children. She always gives me options on how I can do things... for instance, i was opposed to a certain method of getting my child to bed at night and she gave me many other options to try.
The only bad thing is one of the girls at the front desk has a little bit of an attitude problem. She isn't always there when I go, but when she is... I usually end up getting aggravated. I know she is dealing with a lot of crying babies and demanding parents all day, but I am always very cordial and still she doesn't lighten up.
PROS: LOVE my children's pediatrician.. can't say enough good things
CONS: Cranky girl at front desk
From start to finish, this is a first class establishment. Everyone there is friendly, from the lady who I made my appointment with right up to the man to did our taxes. My family's faxes were done quickly and efficiently. I never have to worry about mistakes because the taxes are prepared by professionals. If you're tired of getting your taxes done by one of those "chain" places and later finding mistakes... definitely go here.
I have to start by saying that Gymboree clothing is on the expensive side (even the things on clearance), BUT they are of excellent quality. I have purchased clothing from another children's store they have shrunk or just didn't wash very well.
The sales people here are friendly and they don't bombard you like the previous poster mentioned. I hate when you go in a store and they bombard you before you even have two feet in the store. It is alittle hard to get a double stroller thru the aisles, but I've become use to this since a lot of places don't accommodate a big double stroller.
All in all.. this is a great place to shop for great quality children's clothing.
PROS: nice sales people. Great quality
CONS: on the expensive side
I ate here (or at least wanted to eat here) a few months ago. The man behind the counter was very nice and greeted us. After we told him what we wanted, he started to make our sandwich. We saw him cut his finger while he was cutting the bread. He wiped his finger off (it was clearly bleeding) then continued to use the knife he just cut himself with and went on making the sandwich as if nothing had happened. He then asked me what type of cheese I wanted and I said I saw him cut himself and get blood on the counter. He went to the back to get a bandaide and I spoke to a manager. The manager threw out the bread and put the knife in the sink.. then he started making our sandwich. That would have been fine, but he had come from the back and I didn't see him wash his hands or put on gloves before he started making the sandwich. I said "FORGET IT" and ended up leaving. I called Subway when I got home and they sent me a gift certificate which I gave away.
I used this kennel once and it was the worst experience ever. First off, they wouldn't let me see the actual 'cages' where they keep the dogs. I had to look at them from a distance (from the front yard). That should have been my first clue not to go here. Next, when I picked up my dog, she had clearly lost a lot of weight (she was there for a week) and her bag leg was puffy as if it were infected. After we brought her to the vet, we find out she had a puncture in her leg that had to be drained because it was infected. How could the kennel not notice this and just hand our dog back to us as if nothing had happened? They think her leg got punctured on the fence in the dog run area. They did re-imburse us our money for vet bills, but didn't give us a dime back for the boarding. I say avoid this place at all costs!!!!
CONS: Not nice people. Treated my dog badly.
