Giovanni's Market
The owner is always at your behest. He will go to all lengths to make sure you are satisfied. He'll also do so while making you laugh. Very nice guy with a well stocked store.
Food Basket
These guys are great. They always help you find what you need and always are extremely kind. The Food Basket is definately where i go when i need something in a bind.
Shaw's Flower Shop
I enjoy buying flowers at shaws simply becuase you can in a sense "kill two birds with one stone." While you are shopping and getting the essential groceries, you can stop quickly by the flower section and the very polite customer service representatives will help you pick out something beautiful everytime.
Walgreens
For a fair price instead of cooking after a long day, it is so much easier to simply go to boston market. It may be the closest to a home cooked meal you students are able to recieve. I highly suggest trying it one night.
Petco
The service makes it a fun experience when you go to shop for your pet. they are always very helpful and in this case informed me of what fish can and can not live together which is very important to have a successful fish tank.
Trader Joe's
Trader Joe's is a great grocery store. The only difference is this boylston location does not sell wine. The camberidge location however has a great selection. I definately reccomend shopping at trader joes.
Whole Foods Market
Whole Foods, formerly called bread and circus so no one gets confused, is an awesome grocery store. Pretty much everything in side is relatively healthy for you and there is such selection. What i like is you'll always find something new.
Wally's Cafe
This bar is a great place to catch a beer. It holds with it a lot of history. Located on Massachuesetts Ave it is not too hard to find but you do have to look carefully because it is very small. I would definately reccomend somtime stopping by for a drink.
Bertucci's Brick Oven Pizzeria
This bertuccis location is pretty good yet i have had better. Their pizza was definately up to par but i would not reccomend the caprese appetizer. It is very vinegary which is uncharacteristic of how it is supposed to taste. Besides that it yas pretty good.
Comedy Connection
Good place to go to get a couple drinks and have a good laugh. Just make sure you have a good sense of humor and are easy going or you definately won't enjoy yourself. The reason I say this is becasue from time to time for a cheap laugh the comedian will actually joke about guests in the audience.
