Marcella's was a welcome find for me in my search for the perfect wedding gown. I received amazing customer service throughout each of my interactions with this salon. I tried on many luxurious gowns and finally found "the one" and was able to order during a trunk show for 15% off of the original price. I was so impressed with the salon that I chose to order my veil and tiara through them as well. My fittings have gone fabulously and I recommend this salon to all future brides! The sales people there, particularly the owner Marcella, are so very knowledgeable and they know exactly which types and colors of gowns are most flattering for each individual that enters their salon!
The Bridal Garden is a refreshing salon indeed! After shopping in several other stores I was relieved to finally be greeted by sincere sales people who did not seem pushy or perturbed to be dealing with me. They were extremely helpful. Upon trying on several dresses and finding a few styles and types of materials that I liked the sales person helping me, Jennifer, was able to select similar gowns for me to try on. She was also helpful at selecting possible accessories and also informed me of several upcoming trunk shows. I did not end up purchasing my gown from them but did love my experiences at their salon!
First of all, when you walk in the door you are immediately accosted by sales women who insist that you must be "registered" with them before you can look at or try on dresses. The overall quality of dresses is, in my opinion, low. However, I will say that if you are a plus size bride this is a great place to shop (just try not to pay attention to their lack of customer service) because they will actually have dresses in the shop that you can try on that will FIT. Imagine that! Overall though, I wouldn't recommend this particular salon. I have heard that the Tacoma one is better.
Habitude is truly an amazing experience for anyone who needs to relax, recharge and simply be pampered! Whether you are seeking a fabulous new cut or some hair color, or some spa services, you will not be disappointed! My particular favorite thing to experience when I am at Habitude is the Essential Facial (by Sabine... hope I'm spelling her name correctly) which comes complete with some massage! When you arrive at the spa you are greeted with some tea (which is incredibly good), a spa robe and are able to keep your belongings in a locked locker in a changing room. Between treatments you enjoy tea, smoothies, mixed nuts and berries, a sauna, etc. The sights, sounds and smells at this spa are unmatched in Seattle. I also highly recommend the togetherness massage for a couple's experience that will leave you both in joyous moods! Their website is: http://www.habitude.com/.
London House Salon & Spa recently made some huge improvements by completely remodeling the interior of their space. Upon entering, patrons are immediately greeted with great customer service and a relaxing environment. There is a spa located upstairs with a multitude of services availabe as well as a nail salon and hair salon. Heather is, in my opinion, the most superior hairstylist I have ever had the joy to experience! I have extremely long, thick hair and whenever I walk away from an appointment with her my hair looks fabulous, I'm happy and my checkbook is happy! It is truly a steal of a deal! The salon also has a website: http://www.londonhousesalon.com/. Enjoy!
This spa provides a relaxing retreat for all interested! There are a multitude of services available and the spa does have a website located at: http://www.carlinsalondayspa.com/. Christine in particular provides fabulous skin care services and I highly recommend the microdermabrasion and the waxing services as well! Only Aveda products are used and the gals at this spa are talented professionals!
