Sur La Table is one of the best kitchen stores I know. They have everything you need and more! They have the latest gadgets. The Kirkland store has a cooking school with a variety of classes. You can pick up a schedule or view it online. The prices are higher because they are a specialty store carrying the best brands on the market. They also have bridal registry there. I spoke to many employees and have asked questions about products. They are always helpful and have great suggestions.
I've been with Pemco for several years now. I have had been in 3 accidents (bad timing) that were not my fault and Pemco handled my claims promptly and professionally. I was very pleased that they were on my side! I was very surprised that my rates did not increase due to the incidences that occured! I use them for home owners as well. I will never change companys!
I have never stayed at the lodge but have toured it when it was a possible wedding site for us. Very warm and cozy. I love the sheltered outdoor ceremony area next to their herb garden. I have been to the spa for several services and have been very impressed with their prices and friendly staff. I am always comfortable and relaxed when I am there. I have received product samples to try at home before I buy as well! I highly recommend you giving them a try!
I love Columbia Wines. I've been to the winery in Woodinville several times. They have a very knowledgable and friendly staff. They have a large tasting bar and several to try for free and another menu of one's you can pay to try. The prices at the winery are better than at a grocery store. I went and looked at their private room for a possible venue to host my wedding. I was disappointed. The room is large and very banquety. I felt a lot needed to go into decorating. The patio is nice:) Another bummer was that you had to buy wine from their caterer Schwartz Bros and not them.
PROS: tasty wines, daily tasings, ample parking, friendly staff
CONS: wedding room is very large and plain
My friends and I went to Leavenworth over Memorial Weekend. We booked the hotel on line without even seeing it. We were fairly close to downtown. Just two blocks away. We had a room that had 2 bedrooms 1.5 baths, 3 beds, couch, and a kitchenette. Our rate was only $120 a night!!! I only have two complaints....no pool and uncomfortable beds. The price was great and I'd stay there again.
We decided to go river rafting during our trip to Leavenworth. We called several locations and felt that River Riders fit our budget and also offered a BBQ after our ride. When we got their we were given wetsuits that were in great conditions along with booties that fit! We then walked down to an area and picked up our life jackets and oar. We met our guide Bill and pushed off into the Wenatchee River. He told us everything we needed to know during the first few minutes. We practiced before hitting the first set of rapids. We were also given buckets to toss water onto other boats. GREAT FUN!!!! I was scared I would fall out and held on every patch but we survived and I would definately go again. Our journey was 2.5 hours long. We were starving after and the BBQ was tasty. I can't wait to go again!
Plaza Cleaners is a small family runned business. I've been taking my clothing here for about a year. I don't drop off items that often. They amaze me! I walk in and the woman doesn't ask me any questions. She has my phone number memorized!!!! She automatically gets my garments and they are always in perfect condition. They are very friendly and I trust them! They have great prices too!
Spuds has been around for years! There isn't much to the small restaurant. There is a few tables inside and a couple outside. They have delicious fish and chips!!! If you aren't a fan of cod you can upgrade to halibut or salmon. They have oysters, clams, and prawns too! I love their clam chowder! This place gets packed during the dinner hour. Enjoy!
Whole Foods in Bellevue is AMAZING!!! I'm just now getting into organic foods and this is a great place to learn more about it! Every department makes me say "WOW". The produce is incredible! The fish is the freshest! They even have a bulk self serve seafood area!! They have a wellness area full of oils, excersize needs, lotions, etc. I can go on and on!!! I've attended a cooking class here and was very pleased! I am planning on going to another one:)
I usually walk in without needing anything. I have so much fun just browsing all the aisles. I always end up finding tons of cute clothes to try on. I never leave empty handed! One of our favorite purchases was around Christmas time. They had beautiful Tommy Bahama ties for a great price. We bought 6 of them!! They are very similar to Ross and Marshalls. They have mens, womens, kids, accesories, and home departments. I've never needed to talk to a sales person while shopping. They seem pleasant when checking out.
