This store is pretty nice, they have a deal where $2.99 can buy you a 6 inch sub and a drink, they also have basic items like ciggerettes, soda, lotto tickets, etc. The part I really did not like was it was pretty dirty, esspecially the restrooms. Other then that it's a huge store with lots of great bargins, check it out
This store is so cool! Vintage Diversity has the coolest clothing in retro styles, like bell bottoms, hippie style dresses, lots more. I love it because it's so unquie, chances are if you buy your clothing from here, you'll never run into anyone who has the same thing you do, and I'm sure you'll get tons of compliments and lots of attension, very cool clothing and great prices!
This store is pretty cool, they have a great selection of costumes plus decorations, make-up, masks, spooky music, and lots more. Great for anyone planning a cotsume party or halloween event. The store is very small though so walking around and browsing through everything can be tough, plus its very dark in there (but that adds to the spookiness) but overall it's a great store, excelent prices on there costumes and lots of unique ones also!
I also had a bad experience at Exquisite Nails...first the lady got the nail glue all over my finger and clothes, then she scraped it off and ended up cutting my finger! Then she put some kind of medicine on my finger that made it sting and hurt very bad. The nails did not look righ when compleated and I was very unhappy ith the results. I would not go back here.
Here you can find all kinds of newspapers, ven nes in foreign languages! They lso have a bunch of cigars, ciggerettes, snacks, lotto, cold drinks, and lots more. they have a few magazines too but the papers are the best, you can see what's going on in other parts of the world and get news that you won;t be able to find anywhere eles.
You can go to plaster Carousel with the kids for a great time and kids will learn how to paint beautiful clay sculptures and more. First you pick out what you want to paint, then you choose the colors and paint it anyway you'd like, then they had a glossy finish to it to make it shiny. It's great because you'll have a little keepsake from this day and a cute reminder of the fun you had everytime you see the painting the kids did. They do birthday parties which are lots of fun, you get a little room and they usually provide pizza and snacks, every kid gets to choose 1 piece to paint. It's lots of fun for children of all ages, and it's a very inexpensive activity.
This thrift store has tons of nice stuff. It's a little messy and disorangized, and the atmosphere seems musky and too dark. The smell was pretty bad though, that was a huge turn off and made me want to leave faster. If you take the time to hunt around you'll find some good deals I'm sure will make it worth your time. They have a wide selection of furnature, vintage jewelry, appliances, and knick knacks, good for collectors. regaurdless of what you'll searching for, I'm sure you can find it here at a very low price. Just be sure to clean it when you get it home!
This mall was just begining to form into a really cool place but it seems like it just died before it ever made it up to that status. It was a great concept: mall with tons of stores and a food court as well as a fresh farmmers market, a skating rink, circus shows on weekends, even fun special events like car shows and fashion shows, indoor parking in a parking garage. Stores were still in the proces of unpacking and settling into there new little shop when it seemed they just disappeared. It may be due to remodeling but nowhere in the mall did it informed us that they wer remodeling and would reopen any time soon, but last time I went only about 10% of the stores were actually open and they looked like they had little if anything left to sell. Also it went from being open 7 days a week to just fri, sat and sun. It's such a shame for such a great building with lots of potental to just die down like that.
Sonar is an awsome night club! They have various events happening on different days of the week. Friday night is Vamp night, if you arrive before 11 pm you can get in for free. Each night has a different theme to dress up to: rennassance, vintage, 50's, doctor/nurse, etc. So every night is a different adventure. The music played is gothic dance/ industrial, alternative rock type of music, lots of fun. I love to go and just admire the different outfits, costumes, and make-up teniques used by those that attend these events. It's lots of fun, good time to be had by all that attend.
Discount tabacco has great deals on cigetters and cigars. they have rare cigerettes like cloves, dajariums, and flavored ones like sweet dreams chocolate mocha or camels's toffee flavored cigs. The have other smoking accessories like rolling papers (zig zags) and rolling machines, and small sample sized flavored cigars to pick the one you like best. There's lots of different kinds to choose from. They sell cartons of cigs at below retail price, great place to stock up on!
