I love the Seventeen Studio Spa. The atmosphere is peppy and colorful, and there are so many ways to treat yourself here. The stylists and manicurists are welcoming and go the extra mile to make sure you're being taken care of properly. The pillow pit is the most! It's a great place to grab a few friends and make an improptu party.
This good ol' boy car lot specializes in serving the males of the community, at least apparently since they didn't treat me and my mom very well when we came looking. They were all anxious to buy us a car, but thought we were idiots and talked down to us like we were stupid. In the end they tried to talk us into buying with their financing at a higher points rate when we walked in with a road loans check in hand. These guys are slimely. DON'T trust them.
I didn't think much of going here for a massage when my mom suggested it. Being a student, I know that we don't always put everything into our work, so I didn't expect much of a massage. I was so delightfully surprised! You can't imagine how pleasant this center is, with refreshing incense and *trained* therapists. I've paid more for less, many times.
My mom used to make me go here because it's cheap. It should be with the kind of sorry service they provide. Many staffers aren't fluent in English (including some of the docs), and they just push you through like cattle. These guys hurt you, rush you, and don't listen to you. This is the kind of place that makes people afraid of dentists.
I love this store! As a college student, i have very little spending money, so when I do buy clothes, they have to be cheap. On my lst visit here, I bought a snuggly down jacket for $15. It is going to be a real comfort when it turns cold. You will like how organized the store is, and they have clothes for big girls, too.
It's kind of hard to find a place to laminate big items, but Mardel is the place. I have taken many collectible posters here and laminate them for a few cents a foot. They also have neat Christian music and wall art, and lots of teacher things. Their prices are kind of high for most things, but laminating is cheap.
I like to give books to all my cousins and neighbor kids whenever a gift-giving time arrives. I am an avid reader, and I love to foster that in others. I am always pleasantly surprised by the caliber of books available at 75 percent off books, and can usually find way more than I came in looking for. I love their 99 cent section, and have snagged many a sought-after manga from its shelves.
I'm glad to see people writing about Dr. Myers. She was my therapist when I was a teenager, and she really helped me through some tough times of my life. I used to not know how to handle rude peers, and as a person with disabilities, I used to have some horrible teasing. With Dr. Myer's help, I learned good ways to deal with mean people, dealt with my own anger about being the way I am, and have learned that it's okay to be just me.
I always get pumped when my family plans an outing to the Science Place. I have always loved science, and there's always something nifty and new here to explore. The IMAX is world class and offers shows that are both entertaining and educational. I especially love the nature shows, but have been known to enjoy "Speed."
I absolutely love the Nasher Sculpture Center. I was amazed by Walking to the Sky. It's such an awe-inspiring thing. I especially love how the sculpture shows people off all different races and abilities still making the climb. There is always something new to see here. It's a great place to sketch, meditate or see things from someone else's perspective.
