Anyone who has stayed in a Sheraton lately knows the beds are amazing. This Sheraton is a little tight on room space, but the beds make all the difference. Also, the location is perfect for theatre hopping, Times Square strolling and subway catching. The Hotel is very good condition with a cool library type bar in the lobby and a couple of decent restaurants. If you look around on hotwire or orbitz you can usually grab this hotel for a great price.
PROS: Beds, location
CONS: room size
Ths St. Louis Arch is a MUST SEE if you are traveling to or through St. Louis. The views from the top are unbeatable and you'll have quite an adventurous ride to get to the top. The tours are pretty affordable and the museum underneath the arch is great for passing the time. A visit to the arch also brings you close to the Mighty Mississippi riverfront and landing area full of restaurants, shops and casinos.
The Magic house is an awesome experience, no matter how old you are. If you visit St. Louis you should check it out, especially if you have children. The slide at the end is worth the trip.
The Magic House is in the beautiful and quaint little suburb of Kirkwood where there is plenty of places to shop and eat to complete your day.
This hotel is directly across the street from the St. Louis airport and the rooms are suprisingly quiet. There is ample parking and they will even let you leave your car in their secure parking lot during your trip if you stayed the night before. Much cheaper than paying to park in the airport parking.
Price is fair enough for one night's stay. Clean and comfortable.

If you want to experience Downtown Vegas (and you should) at it's best, stay at the Golden Nugget. The hotel is the nicest in downtown and it is also in the best location. The rooms are clean and spacious and very affordable. There will be a lot of "old school" Vegas types here. Great for people watching. Even if you only want to go to Downtown for an evening and you have no intention of staying, go to the Nugget.
PROS: Old Vegas Feel, Great location
CONS: Lots of smoke.
The Sheraton Hotel and Towers in Downtown Chicago has a great location for visitors to the City. It is within walking distance of most major attractions and you can hop on the "L" with a short walk as well. The hotel itself is very nice and if you time it right, through Hotwire or Orbitz you can score this 4 star hotel for a 3 star price.
PROS: Location, quality, price
The Bonne Terre Mine is the largest man made mine in the United States. It was a lead mine that flourished in the early 1900's and after it closed it became a hot spot for scuba diving. The mines are flooded and they provide an incredible scuba diving experience for those that are skilled enough to navigate their way in the pitch black waters. There is also a great tour that you can take through the parts of the mines that are not flooded. A great outing for the family!
If you've never been to the Bass Pro Shop in Springfield, MO, you should go. This is an incredibly unique store with enough to see and do to entertain your whole family for the afternoon. Great restaurants, great aquariams, goregeous boats for you to climb aboard and take a look at and of course... tons of outdoor gear for the adventure enthusiast. Also, they just built a beautiful new wildlife museum next door. A great experience!
