A friend recommended them, but I'm not sure why. I asked for the General/Standard service and Veronica and Amelia were who came out. At first glance, I thought it was adequate (even though I had to ask them to wipe down the kitchen counters - some obvious misses). At a closer look, the kitchen counters were cleaned only in open spaces...they did not clean behind any appliance, container, or even a cereal box. The top of my entertainment stand was only 1/2 dusted. The front living room has hard wood floors and two light couches that can be easily moved. There was no sweeping or mopping under these couches. My bathroom shower stall floor was cleaned, but anything above eye level was not touched. You can see the streak marks where they wiped down the bath tub (which is separate from the shower). Also, not a single window sill was wiped down --in any room-- and that is specifically written down on the standard maid service list. Also, a rag and cleaning bottle was left in my bedroom.
I can not recommend them unless you are seriously desperate for a C-minus job.
PROS: Available Next Day
CONS: Below Adequate service
This mall has everything!! From Gap to Illuminations, you can find anything at this mall. They even have non-traditional food places in the food market. Give it a try!
There are great food choices here - Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs, etc. But there isn't much for shopping. If you want to see a movie in a nice theater and have dinner beforehand, this is the place to go. But, you will have to weave yourself through teenagers hanging out.
A friend referred Dr Newfield as a gyn to me. He was friendly and seemed to know his stuff. I thought he was great. But I didnt' fall in love with him until I was pregnant. I felt like I was in good hands the entire pregnancy. He did know his stuff! He's friendly, laid back, and will take time to answer all your questions. I also LOVE his sonogram technician. She gets excited with you as she's showing you your baby. He works alone - not part of a group - so you get him every time.
Larry knows the ins and outs of the tax laws and works with you to find things you can deduct. I know a lot of actors who go to him and he knows that business too. He files everything electronically. When you come back the second year, he has everything filled out and ready to go...you just plug in the new year's numbers. I highly recommend him. He always finds enough deductions to pay for his fee!
LACMA is a great place to find Modern Art in Los Angeles. They bring in great exhibits and rotate well. The space is large too. I love the grounds as well. The museum is a great place to bring visitors from out of town, kids, and just to peruse on your day off. The yearly membership is very affordable.
I walked into this Origins and was greeted immediately. The lady that helped me was kind, informative, and not pushy. She answered all my questions and was honest with what I needed and didn't need. The store is small, but has all the products they sell. I recommend this location...I've not had friendlier service at and Origins. Their product is great. Free of dye and fragrances. My skin is sensitive and responds well to their product.
I've gotten my hair styled and colored by Richard at the Beverly Center. He's friendly, talented, and always takes his time for perfection. I've been several times and each time I am very pleased. He doesn't push product at the end. He'll point it out, but doesn't make you feel like you need it. The only thing he pushes is me to come in more often, but that's probably because I only get a cut every 6 months!
PROS: Professional, Friendly
CONS: Mall Salon
I've been a Sprint PCS customer for at least 7 years. Their customer service has never been great. In fact, it's usually pretty crappy (although, I'll admit they are getting better and more automated). What surprised me with this location, is that it's crappy service in Beverly Hills! I thought people were catered to in BH! You don't want to get the wrong person/rich person upset, right? Well, they were equally rude to all cusomers the day I walked in to this location. I didn't see a single person walk out the door satisfied with their service. Not only were they rude, the didn't help. I ended up having to call their phone people to get my issue resolved. The positive outcome was the person on the phone gave me a $20 credit for my troubles. I thought it was a nice gesture
CONS: parking difficult, service not helpful or friendly
Santa Monica Pier is a great place to take the kids. The amusement park is a lot of fun. It is a small carnival, complete with ferris wheel, rollercoaster, and games. There is also an arcade and a carousel.
During the summer, there is a Twighlight Dance Series on Thursday nights on the pier. I strongly recommend checking this out. It's a free concert and the music is usually excellent.
