Chocolates with Love is located in the Interstate Shoppinh Center so parking is always available and you can make it part of a general shopping outing.
They are packed to the ceiling with chocolate, jelly beans, favors, stuffed animals, wedding items, china and anything else youcan connect with candy.
I find it a little "close"-overpacked but you sure can't complain about selection or the terrific chocolate aroma.
They carry odd little speecial things lie "Chocolarte Opoly". They have Gund and Precious Moments and even birdhouses (?).
You can have them put together baskets for any occassion. They have chocolates shaped for any occassion. They carry sugar free as well.

Perennial Interiors Garden Boutique is a new home andgarden shop. Its exquisite.
They carry the most beautiful jugs, jars, pottery in general that I've seen around. The silk flowers are incredibly real looking and Sheila makes magnificent arrangements.
They sell collectible dolls and garden fairies, all at very reasonable prices.They have birdhouses, bird feeders, garden statuary as well as tableware for inside or out.
Sheila will do specialty centerpieces and favors.
She also carries red Mexican pottery in platters, wall pieces, vases andplanters. All very attractive..
Another wonderful Nyack shop to stop in.

Ben and Oliver is another wonderful, aromatherapy, soaps and oils little store. Its an excellent place to shop for a gift for yourself or someone else. Think Christmas!
The store has a very deco look which is charming in of itself.
Its got. a great smell and aisles of innovative interesting soaps and oils. The prices are reasonable and the place is super smelling. They carry massage oils of course.
Its another good stop when you're trolling Piermont.

Foot Solutions is an incredible "shoe store" in Ramsey. I put that in quotes because they are not your average shoe store.. They are, as the name says, a solution to any foot problems you're dealing with. They know their feet and have incredibly authority on taking care of them.
THey carry Sacony, Brooks, Anatech ,Pedors, Haflinger Dansko, New Balance and more top of the line brands for feet.
They understand arthritic condtions, diabeteic problems, cirulatory and nerve disorders. They will match you with a shoe that will minmize thep ain and discomfort from these and any other problems.
The personnel are wonderful, attentive and knowledgable.

The Saddle River Salon is located on the 'Main street " running through Saddle RIver (there really is no town to speak of).
Its a small salon but nicely decorated. Theyoffer massagembody treatment,m mens spsrot facials, aage defying treatments, Europeanfacial, lunch break facial and calssic teen faacials as wellas waxing, hair and nail care. They will do customized skin care, anti wrinkle and eye treatment.
Prices for skin and massage run from $6 for a polish change to $85 for a body wrap
Hair for children is $10 (VERY reasonable!!) to $140 for a full hair hi light.
My only criticism is that unfortunately the owner is very disgruntled, not a good attitude when you're new in the neighborhood and want customers to return. Luckily for her the staff is very very nice.

Christopher's Antiques & Warehouse is a landmark in Nyack. I've been going there afor as long as I can remember. WHen I first went there I picked up a gorgeous wicker chair for $5 and a Hoosier for $200. The price alone tells you how long ago that wwas.
Well, its still there and has gorwnlarger and larger. Now theres the main store and a warehouse.
THey carry pine. leather, Venetian mirrors, INdian Rosewood and fabulous outdoor/garden pieces.
The prices are good especially when you consider the quality is excellent. Its so much better than going to a department store. The owners are so nice and the whole place is so so charming.
Watch for Addie the poodle.

Squash Blossom is all Indian. If you're looking for authentic Indian jewelry they have very interesting items to choose from
They carry Kachina dolls from the Hopi Indian, Navajo rugs, Pueblo Pottery. The prices are wellwithin anyones budget.
When I'm in Nycack I like to poke into every store and though this isn't my "look" I'm an artist and I find it was very interesting to examine the workmanship in the tribal arts. The owner obviously has a good "eye".
The store is only pen Wed thru Sat.

Cat Bamboo is a store specializing in Asian Furniture. THey carry a wonderful selection of items in this genre.
They offer handmade papers, Japanese incense, silk pillows, chopsticks. sushi boards and handmade papers. THey have items for Zen, Feng Shui and Ikebani.
You can purchase Jizo statuary.
They also have antique and antique reproduction items. Considering the quality and one of a kind aspect these also are very reasonable.
It the Asian look is something you're keen on this is a one stop shopping store. You'll find everything for that look here. If you just want to indulge in the accessories, they're here. Prices are very reasonable for the home decorative items.. The staff is lovely.
One item I saw was a seaglass plate. Very very nice. They have runners and table linens as well. You can find items starting at $3 and going up once you look at the fine antiques.
This is one of the any stores in Nyack that will grab your attention.

Boondocks is a charming, charming store chock full of oil, soaps, music and other spiritual, body, mind and soul oriented items for sale.
Its small but wel stocked. They have aromatherapy oils, sweet little stones with thought provoking sayings. They have a myriad of items to please the senses and get new stock weekly from the Atlanta Gift Show. Prices are reasonable.
This is just one of the outstanding little stores in Piermont that is a must see.
