Blood Center-Bergen Community

I recently donated blood at the Bergen Community Blood Center . There was no wait. The staff were extremely attentive.

They were helpful with filling out the necessary forms (which I found confusing)

They were informative and calmed any fears I may have had....mostly about pain. There was minimal pain, only a slight prick and I wasn't left with any bruising.

They made sure I had orange juice and a donut. They stressed drinking a lot of water throughout the rest of thday.

The whole experience was perfectly fine

UPS Store

My sister came up to visit me in NJ and I took her to the Antique CEnter in Upper Saddle. She found a lot of amazing items that she wanted for her place in Florida. We couldn't locate a moving company that would move a small amount of furiture that far and luckily we tried. The Ups Store in Ramsey was able to get all my sister's furniture purchases from NJ to Florida for us.. They packed her items and shipped them directly to her without a hitch. They were real lifesavers.

They carry peanuts, bubble wrap and boxes. They were excellent. Everything arrived in perfect condition.

Metropolitan Plant Exchange

Metropolitan Plant And Flower Exchange in Fort Lee is the first of their stores. I went to this store when it first opened. and continued to go there as it grew.

Their selection of flowers was always gorgeous, their plants were huge and their prices were astoundingly low.

I continue to shop theis company but now I shop the Paramus location.

Safavieh Carpets

Safavieh Carpet is a great place to start shopping when you're looking for rugs. They have the most amazing collection of handmade orientals. Vibrant colors, excellent patterns. They have rugs from China. Persia and India. Some are even one of a kind and or heirloom . This may be the investment of a lifetime. They make sure you are wll instructed on the history of each piece and will spend all the time you need looking for your perfect rug.

They also handle furniture, Henredon, Baker and other top brands.

Their sales are not to be missed!

Apple Montessori Schools & Camps - Mahwah

Apple Montessori School is an excellent starting place for your childs experience with school. They offer full and half days. They take infant, toddler, preschool and kindergarden as well as grade 1-6.

They will teach your child a foreign language, phonics, computer & music . This is a wonderul fully rounded education for your child.

They also have Summer camp, offering field trips arts and crafts, cooking, computer, music dance and more.

My child loved his Montessori.

Euro Regalo

If you're doing bridal or communion shopping check out Euro Regalo. They've been featured in local papers and my best friends daughter is a bride to be so we made the trip to Hackensack. It was well worth it.

Regalo can provide you with all the favors for weddings, showers or communion parties. Its terrific having a great selection all in one store.You can also find nice Sweet 16 items.I'm past that and my daughter was grounded for hers.

They do beautiful white silk flower centerpieces if you aren't wanting to deal with fresh flowers. We decided this would be great to decorate the chapel and we could take the flowers home afterwards instead of them being throw aways..

They carry a full line of childrens communion wear and christening apparel.

This was so much easier then running store to store. Its one stop shopping. And its also right down the block from Elsies Bridal so you can just walk from place to place.

Archive Gift Shop

The Archive Gift Shop is a veryspecial shop. It sells handcrafted item and donates all its proceeds to a non profit groups for the developmentally disabled. This alone draw me to shop there. I always feel I've done some good for someone spesnding my money.

They have a wonderful selection of items. jewelry, wreaths, birdhouses, baby blankets. You can custom your purchase if you want.

Prices are very reasonable.

They offer a specially decorated broom for the "jump the broom" ritual. This would be charming for any bride as a shower gift. That was my latest purchase ($20.00)

They're closed Sundays

Bnr Auto Detailing

B N R Auto Detailing is an excellent top of the line detailing business. My son is a car fanatic who owns a vintage car that he adores.

This is the place he allows trusts with his car. They pay attention to detail, he has no complaints and that's saying a lot for him.

They will custom the detail work to your needs and finances.

Ivangie Tea House

Ivangie Tea House is a marvelous place to enjoy many teas and infusions. They serve beaitifully prepared crispy whole Bass or Red Snapper, there are the regular range of soups, shrimp toast, shrimp w. garlic sauce, general tsao etc, Peking Duck.

This is a great place for vegetarians, lots of interesting tofu dishes.They offer sushi ans sashimi. Open for lunch.

Prices run $15-$17 for main courses.

Country Pancake House

If you and your family are BIG eater Country Pancake House is for you. I've never seen pancakes like the ones they serve here. They are platter sized. They are the Empire State pancake. They come with every imaginable topping in case the plainold pancake doesn't fill you up!

You have to plan ahead since it gets very crowded here, especially on Sunday.
