San Francisco, CA
There's one sushi chef there who I think is so hot, and the food is great too. ;-) They play Anime movies on the walls- the atmosphere is super funky. Their cocktails are really good, and the menu is fabu. If you have the chance to take someone there who has never been, they're always impressed.
It's pointless! I mean seriously- it would cost me around $12-15 to do it myself a week, and Billy's does it for me for around $15-20. Why not treat yourself to something that makes life so much easier for only $5 more? The lady that runs the place is really nice and they do a great job. They also have dry cleaning, so it's one stop shopping for all of your laundry needs.
You like sandwiches? You like meats and cheeses? You like a view of San Francisco that just won't quit? Then you should head to Klein's Deli. They have the standby sandwiches that you see at most deli's, but they also have an impressive menu of sandwiches named after famous folks who aparently like Klein's (or maybe it's just sandwiches) as much as I do. It's very clean, and the service is friendly. There's also a cute little patio out back.
Mani/Pedi is a fun place to head with a girlfriend (or boyfriend) to get your fingers and toes buffed up. You can bring a bottle of wine or champagne and they'll cork it for you. The prices are a little higher than your typical chop shop, but once a month it's worth it. They also have some really funky jewelry and other accessory-type items in the waiting area.
