The Hall Closet has every scrap-booking supply you could think of. I can spend hours in this store buying supplies and getting new ideas. The owner is more than willing to help you and give ideas and suggestions. It is really fun to come to a store that is targeted towards scrap-booking.
Alonges sells all types of uniforms. They screen-print names or team names on sweats, jackets and t-shirts. They sell gym bags as well. Basically, every sports organization gets their uniforms from here. My husband’s Police Academy all got their PE uniforms from Alonges and for really cheap. The printing and sweatshirt combined was what we would have paid for just the sweatshirt.
Pack Wrap sells shipping supplies. They also make copies. The best thing though is they have a fax machine you can use. It is the only place I have found with a fax machine for public use (you have to pay). It’s like a small version of Kinkos. The prices on copies are really good, and you get a great deal if you are getting a lot of copies.
This is a relatively new shop in town. It is not “preppy” clothing. A lot of alternative type things. They carry cute things though. They sell clothes as well as shoes and belts. They also sell band shirts. It has a punk type of feel to it. They have pretty good prices. I like it, but its not somewhere I shop all the time, just somewhere I can get a cute item once and a while.
This shop has some cute things but to me it is a bit random. The sells bras and underwear and come clothing. But it is not like normal clothing shops where there is different sizes for each shirt or pants or whatever. There just seems to be random items, and it makes me wonder where it comes from. They are also WAY over-priced.
Ridgecrest cleaners does fast and good work. They have 1 hour dry cleaning available. They also do alterations. They sewed in my husbands military creases on his uniform for only $10.I always use Ridgecrest cleaners because they are the cheapest. They are always very friendly when I bring my dry cleaning in and often give me deals since I am a return customer.
Da Vinci sells really cute clothes. They sell mainly girls clothing, but sell some boys clothing as well. The clothes are targeted towards teens/young women. It is mostly casual clothing, but has some nicer dresses as well. They are reasonably priced and one of the most fun places to shop in Ridgecrest.
I had a really good experience with them. I got a cell phone for me and my husband and got a great deal. There was a problem that the employee couldn’t fix right then, so he made sure he called me the next day himself to make sure my phone was working. They also gave me a free car charger. The associate was very nice.
This is a drive through car wash. There are four different ones you can choose from, getting more expensive. They also have vacuums and sell air freshners and Armor All pads. What I like is you can pay in cash or by debit cards. They also have a side where you can do it yourself, but the drive in is really convenient. The car wash even drys your car for you, so it doesn’t streak.
Ridgecrest Car Wash does a great job. Your car is spotless after you have it cleaned. They vacuum the inside as well which I love. It costs about $7 for the car wash, which is worth it in my opinion. You just sit back and relax while they do the work.
