My husband and I stayed at the best B&B in the state of New Hampshire this weekend. It is called Serene Haven in Hillsborough. Jazmine is the owner and she is the most pleasant lady you will ever meet. The B&B was beautifully decorated. There are 4 cozy rooms in the inn. Breakfast comes with each night's stay which included eggs, sausage, cinnamon rolls, fruit, juice and coffee. The view from each room is just gorgeous. I highly recommend this B&B.
The Beantown Jazz Festival takes place on September 24th on Columbus Avenue at Boston's South End. There are 12 great bands playing on 3 different stages. It is free to the public but you can donate $5 and those funds go to support Prostate Cancer Awareness. Besides the jazz festivities, they also have food vendors, as well as arts and cratfs vendors that line the streets.
This is the best place in Boston to get ice cream on a hot summer day. Their ice cream is smooth and creamy. It is always packed with locals looking for a way to beat the heat. They serve homemade style gourmet ice cream, frozen yogurt and soft serve in over 60 flavors! They can even cater a sundae party for your next big event. I like the unique flavors they have like Chunky Chocolate Pudding and Red Raspberry Chip.
This is a great store for mountain climbers, snowshoers, and downhill racers alike. Ski Market has a vast selection of weather appropiate gear at very reasonable prices. I bought a pair of high quality lined mittens along with a comfy featherweight down jacket. The staff was very helpful in helping me pick out the right outerwear for my needs.
I went shopping here as a recommendation from a friend of mine. My step daughter was having her baby shower so I went here to pick up a few things. Well I came out with more than just a few things and didnt spend over my budget. The prices are great and what a great selection of unique items. They have a couch area for expectant moms to relax on while shopping and they even have a play area for toodlers to play while mom shops.
I went into this store looking for craft supplies but found it is mostly for artists. But they do have a great selection of items that I found pretty interesting. Located at Central Square, you walk down this psychedilic stair case. It is pretty neat. Anyways, they have a vast supply of paints, paint brushes in all sizes, and paper of every color and size. The staff seems very knowledgeable as far as art stuff is concerned.
This is the place to shop for wine and liquor. No other liquor that I have been to offers such a variety of fine and rare wines. They have free wine tasting on Saturdays which is always a hit with the locals. They even send you weekly email newsletters with their lastest specials. There is alot of parking space here. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
They really do live up to their name. The staff will deoderize, despot and de wrinkle your clothes all within 24 hours. If you get it there before 8 in the morning, they will have it done that very same day. They are very convenient with Sunday hours and there is even a night drop box. They will even hem and sew on loose buttons at no extra charge.
My husband and I attended a wedding where The Guilded Harps entertained at the wedding ceremony as well as the reception. It was simply beautiful. They play at weddings and other elegant events. You can choose to have harp solos or with other various instruments. The wedding we attended had the solos and the music was breathtaking and relaxing. Very talented.
Embellish is located in Historic Quincy Center. What a great place to combine beauty and wellness in a relaxed, comforting environment. Their talented, friendly staff of gifted practitioners and superior stylists, treat you to the very latest in styles and techniques. You can get all kinds of pampering done there from massages to pedicures to seaweed wraps. They have great hours including Saturdays.
