This huge store covers sports equipment and supplies for almost every sport and excersise. They even have a pool outside to learn scuba diving and get certified. This is a complete sports store and the employees are very kind and knowlegable.
This is one of my favorite bookstores. Have a cup of coffee and browse the books. This store has a very complete collection of books. I love going to book signings for local authors. most books are full retail but sometimes you can find deals.
The one thing I hate most about changing the ink in my printer and refilling the cartride is the mess it makes and the time it takes. I know that recycling your cartridges is both environmentally correct and inexpensive. A new black ink cartridge can run close to $40. Cartridge World takes the work and mess out of reusing cartridges. Just bring in your old cartridges and they will refill them for you. Their staff is helpful and there is a 100% guarantee. They can refill Injet & Laser cartridges, copier toners, fax printers and copier cartridges. They offer FREE pick up and delivery for business customers. I highly recommend this business which is located at Goldenwest and Edinger by Huffs.
Audio books are great for visually impaired people or people who are on the road a long time. Talking Book World has one of the larges varieties of books available. Unfortunately the cost of membership can run about $300 a year. I can buy lsightly used audio books for a couple of dollars on the internet. This is good if you need the books fast, but bad if you are on a budget.
CONS: expensive to become a member
This is a fun place to take your dog if you are not around. This company has over 5000 sq feet of indoor dog playgrounds. Dog play in a safe, clean, cage-free,leash free environment. The store not only has a very large selection of do it yourself jewelry, they can also host your little girl's birthday party. They do give classes on jewelry making will all the supplies needed there. This is a very unique idea for a little girl's dream party.
My husband and I walked into Brewbakers and the woman behind the counter asked if we wanted samples. Samples of beer?? Ok my hubby thought he died and went to heven. Brewbakers is unique place. Not only does it make prezel dough pizzas, and fresh baked soft pretzles, You can make your own beer. They have all the recipies and the supplies needed and they will also make a label for your special microbrew. They can also make root beer. You can bring the kids and have a party or you can have adults come to make their own beer. There is always a helpful employee there to let you try different tastes or help you make your own beer.
This institutional cookie cutter answer to medicine is so unsatifactory. Doctors can see you for 15 minutes and have incentives to not do as many tests or make specialist recommendations. Doctors do not know their patients even though they have seen them for years. The only good thing is that they do have evening hours and are open weekends. The doctors seem not to be listening and not all the doctors or nurses speak english well.
CONS: They cut corners everywhere
If you come across The Orange County Times at the fair, don't give them your phone number. I did last year and I was barraged by telemarketing calls, even though I kept saying no and even today keep calling.
Michael's carries the largest selection of Arts and crafts materials under one roof. They offer free workshops for thier customers and their staff is creative and helpful. I would recommend this store.
CONS: Parking is sometimes hard to find
