The thing I liked about this YMCA was the location. It was out of the way, easy to get too and had really good parking. What I didn't like was that we couldn't find a time of day that was better to go to than others. It was always busy, never enough machines available and just felt crowded. I felt like we were wasting our money because we weren't able to use it.
I discovered this place last year while christmas shopping. They have such really nice items. I love their selection of soaps, lotions and bath products. I also found some really cute things for my neice here--they have a cute little childrens section. They do really beautiful complimentary gift wrap. My husband surprised me with some items from here for our anniversary and I loved them! Just a really nice shop.
This is a HUGE gift store. Not gift store--like the cheesey ones with post cards and beanie babies. This is the place to go for wedding presents, baby showers or just to find a nice gift. I was referred here when I was having trouble finding some nice things for our wedding party. I was surprised at just the amount of items they had here. Also--they have some really nice diaper bags.
I used Kaiser for years before my company offered healthcare. At the time they were an affordable option for me. They had their good and bad, but overall I was happy with them. The things I liked the most was that I could have perscriptions filled and mailed directly to my home and that it was easy to get a flu shot--at a time where it seemed hard to get one.
If you are looking for some nice picture frames this is the place to go. They have all sorts of different style & designs. The prices seem a bit higher than other places, but the selection is better. I've found some amazing deals on pictures and prints here. Watch for their clearance sales! The people working there aren't always helpful.
I've never shopped here but I've donated quite a bit to them over the years. I like to donate here because it is going to a good cause. I also like donating here because it's really easy. You just pull up and drop the items off. They have people who will help unload it from your car. I have friends who have found good deals on some antique furniture here.
I've stopped going into this Pier One Imports. Even though it's less convienent I prefer to go to the one in Novato. This one is nice and large, which is a plus for them. The customer service here is completely horrible. Each time I go in here it just keeps getting worse. I'm torn betwen giving this 2 or 3 stars. They have some nice things, but the lack of customer service just ruins the place. I've stood at the counter once for 10 minutes just waiting for someone to ring me up. I ended up just leaving.
I like going here to look at their nursery section. They have a really good selection of plants that they take care of so I don't have to worry about them being unhealthy. This place is a bit out of the way for me, so I don't go there often. Also the parking has been tough in the past. It's a nice change from a Home Depot or a Lowes.
I really prefer to shop at the Pier 1 Imports in Novato. This one is a bit cramped. I've never had a good experience getting help here. The selection even doesn't seem quite as good as the store in Novato. Parking isn't the greatest. It's in a center with many other stores and it's hard finding an available space that isn't far away.
I like going here to look at holiday decorations. They have a good selection of decorative household items--place mats, tablecloths, centerpieces, pillows, candles, vases and much more. I like going to this one because the location is easy to get to, the store is pretty large and parking is super easy. Unlike other Pier One's I've always found it easy to get help here.
