Really good food....Amazingly huge portions. Insanely huge portions is more like it. You can't possibly finish most of the things you order. If you order dessert after your meal....you're looking to kill yourself.
PROS: Really good food...
CONS: super pricey....portions a little too big
Good burgers, good pizza, great appetizers and just about every kind of beer on tap that you can think of. It's the kind of restaurant where you can throw your peanut shells on the floor, which is always fun for the whole family. Many a night after classes at NMSU was spent here with my friends....If you have to get a burger....you HAVE to try the double bueno burger...it is the absolute ultimate burger....and if you can't finish it.....you're lame!
PROS: What else can I say? It rocks!
CONS: They still allow smoking which really sucks
While the Timberlake Apartments are nice, and in a very nice area, I can't say that I'd recommend living here. Money is their first priority, it seems. When your lease is up, you can guarantee that they will raise your rent, and they refuse to negotiate. They realize that the area is growing by leaps and bounds so they don't care if they keep you as a tennant...even if you're a good one. They know that they can rent out your apartment for more than you are paying. I certainly plan on moving out when my lease is up.
PROS: The girls in the office are great
CONS: The company cares about money..nothing else
If you're looking for a really good sub sandwich, Capriotti's is the place to go. I've yet to have a bad sandwich there or even a mediocre sandwich. They are a bit pricey, but their portions are absolutely HUGE.
PROS: Really good sandwiches
CONS: a little pricey
Kiki's has the greatest Mexican food I've ever eaten. It's kind of a hole in the wall, but the place really has personality. Try the crab machaca!!! You can't beat the prices either!
PROS: The Food! It's the best!
CONS: in an old building...the bathrooms leave a little to be desired.
