Lenscrafters
I don't know how people put up with other stores that take days to make glasses. Lenscrafters is a life-saver if your glasses break, need to be adjusted or updated. Their staff if very knowledgible and their prices are excellent.

The Cheesecake Factory
They have SO many good dishes to choose from you can't possibly go wrong. The amount of food served for lunch is enough for two meals - doggie bags are a must. Their desserts are out of this world - I have never found any other cakes or cheesecakes to rival theirs.

Lime Green Grocer & Deli
They have a wide range of pre-packaged foods, beverages and freshly made soups & sandwiches. Their chili is terrific and the handmade milkshakes (made with REAL ice cream) are fantastic!

CONS: Espresso is just "ok"
Salon Sordelet
I got the BEST haircut from Dan - I have very coarse, wavy hair and he was able to cut layers into it that allowed me to keep the length while controlling the shape. They allow walk-ins, which is great.

Jade Restaurant & Lounge
Their food is plentiful and cheap. Service is quick and the staff very courteous. The desperately need a new venting system to pull the cooking smoke/smells out of the restaurant kitchen as it wafts into the eating area and your clothes will stink for the rest of the day. Tip - order to go & get in & out as fast as you can.
PROS: Wonderful hot & sour soup
CONS: Ventilation lacking
Romio's Pizza Downtown Seattle
An excellent place for lunch - mini pizza & salad combos that are both fast and delicious. Kinda funky decor, but the food is totally worth it. Recommend the sun-dried tomato & roasted garlic pizza. Mmmmm

Health insurance is a complicated business, but the customer service people at Regence go above and beyond to explain benefits and help members out. It's a nice change from other insurance companies!

Nordstrom
Nordstrom is beautifully set up - it's a pleasure simply walking through the old Frederick & Nelson space. Nordstrom's return policy is the best in the business - no hassles at all.

Always a pleasant dining experience - lovely decor, courteous staff and the food is always top-notch. A little more expensive than other department store eateries, but well worth the elegant feel you get.
